Hi, I own a Harley VRod Stock. However my wife inherited a decked out Roadstar.  I have no idea where to begin or if it will pass an inspection for Maryland.  The bike was originally in Long Island.  It looks like the bike had 2 Nitro tanks under the rear saddlebags, a PSI gage on the left air intake, a crazy Looking Turbo on the right side, a gage with water in it on the handlebars and a computer board in battery compartment. Has anyone every seen this setup before? I don't know where to look for the Nitro button. I am scared if I hit a stock button such as the horn, it may trigger the Nitro’s... I am charging battery and hope to start it up soon for the first time. Any help or comments will be much appreciated; I can take more pictures if someone needs more to look at for better answers. How can I post the pictures? Thanks

Is the bike red and did it belong to an older guy from Long Island? If I recall his name

was Dennis and if it is his bike, than I actually rode it once and I was there when he flipped it

doing 40mph and broke 5 ribs.

OK, now you have me thinking, did something happen to Dennis? How did you end up inheriting the bike if this is the one?

Yes is it his bike. Dennis was my Wife's Dad. Small world. How well did you know him.

It looks like this, but it has Black Mirrors and handle bar setup looks a little different.

Vector... Make sure the Pixel size dimensions are filled when linking a pic. Some of us still using IExplorer cant see pics unless they are filled.Big Smile

Here is a fixed pic link.

Oh.... and keep the width to 720 px or less so it will fit in the forum... You can click on the pic to view its full size by adding a link to it too.Stick out tongue

Listen to me trying to tell Vector how to link a pic...LOL.... preaching to the choir!Embarrassed

I rode with him a few times about 3 years ago. He let me ride his bike when he first got it. I met him through this website. If I recall,

he was a driving instructor. He was a really nice guy and that bike was crazy fast with the turbo on it. Did something happen to him?

Did he pass? I know he was trying to sell the bike because it was just too fast for him. One day we were riding to upstate NY and

he was trying to keep up with me and ended up hitting the curb and when he landed he broke a few of his ribs. If there is anything

personal and you would rather not post it, feel free to PM me. I hope he is OK.

Thanks for fixing the image. Yes, that is Dennis and the Bike.  Does anyone else know him or the bike?  Any ideas about the Nitro Setup? Thanks

Crazy, I know that Orient Express did all the work to the bike. If they're still in business,

I would call them to find out anything about the bike. Just be careful on the monster though.

I punched it hard and when the turbo kicked in, that thing hit redline in every gear within

seconds. If I can find it, I even have a video of myself riding the bike. So, where do you live?

Did you see this switch? If I remember, it's to disarm/arm the nitrous. I just don't remember how to activate it though?

That switch isn't there anymore, but the gage is. Looks like he upgraded the Cover or something becuase now it has vents instead of a solid cover. I haven't found the switch yet, but will look harder tomorow. Its good to know there is a switch though...
