Since everyone likes Vector's bike, including us, and we don't want to keep anyone in suspence for too long. Here are the left and right inside shots of Vector's (Polished) 240 swingarm. All our 240 arms come this way, to ensure there are no tire to swingarm clearence issues.

The right side is Cut and then re-enforced with a 1/4" plate.

GS_Cycles_Inc....thanks for the photos and your explanation but with all the shiny stuff and the reflection of the belt it's difficult to decipher the modified arm [:(] [;)]

    Alan,
-Maybe this will help clarify the left side for you.
-Here's a shot of the inner left side, of a 240 modification, right after it was cut, plated, and re-welded.

    Re: Taking the plunge!!!!!

That's what my 240 arm needed! If I had that type of mod, mine wouldn't be rubbing now!

Eric, I too bought a spare swingarm, and when I can afford it, I need to speak to you about mine. Want to go 250 like Goose, I think. Not to bring it up too far in advance, but house is under construction, have to close that up first!

    Re: Taking the plunge!!!!!

GS_Cycles_Inc....This definitely supports my recent statement in another discussion regarding the difference in methodology amongst the vendors regarding the required modifications to a 240 swingarm and the subsequent clearances.

Thanks again for the photos and explanation of the 240 swingarm mod. Nice looking work [^]
