Does this bike belong to anyone here?

Found an '06 for sale here in Florida.
Seller claims it's a limited edition and the paint job came straight from the factory.

I didn't know there were limited edition Warriors sold.

    What say you all?

My wife purchased her Warrior brand new back in '06 and the midnight was the only SE that I can recall. Plus, what idiot would pay $15,000 for a warrior... even highly customized (Single Sided 300, and big bore) is not worth $15,000. Warrior = Chrysler Sebring value wise, not worth a *** right off the showroom floor.

No limited edition in 2006 that had that paint scheme

While that paint scheme is definitely Yamaha Factory "Inspired", it appears to be a bone stock midnight with the exception of the slip on muffler (does that even muffle?) and the paint.  It's well done paint, but there's nary another mod to be seen.  Fer cryin' out loud, it's got stock headers, airbox, and SEAT!  Hardly a custom.

(edited to add) The price that he's asking now seems reasonable for the age/miles if you like that custom slip-on.  I paid $7000 2 years ago for an '04 with 5K miles with only a cobra slip on differentiating it from stock.  And if the original purchaser bought it for full retail, plus custom paint cost, plus that slip-on, plus tax, the total could have hit $15K.

It will probably still sell, we have the advantage of "being in the know".

There are still people out there with more money than sense.

Stock black bike w/custom paint and a few mods as stated by the others .... that's a Tailgunner Exhaust on the stock headers and it doesn't cost $1700.00! Very Low mileage bike for an '06' and looks clean Smile

Here's Bruce aka Riverat and a slip-on Tailgunner Exhaust and it's loud and it also has MUFFLER BEARINGS THAT NEED TO BE LUBED and that you can take to the Bank Surprise Wink Big Smile

8 grand way too much for a basically stock bike.  The exhaust (slip on and the not factory paint) are not very expensive items.  The wheels are not stock 06.  06 was the last year for black with red pin.  My 06 I bought new in 07 for $8500.00.  Sorry to say that bike is a $6500.00 bike.

Dude, That bike might look good but its not worth it. $ 7999 is a rip off, its damn near bone stock, and I've never seen or even heard of a special edition midnight warrior. If you want a warrior go to Seminole powersports in Sanford they got a brand new warrior for sale around $8000 with red paint and with a warranty. Check them out I' ve been having my warrior service with them for about a year and they are great people down there. But I didn't buy my bike from them, I bought mine at Britt in Jackonville, NC.

My bike must be an '05 then, and that stinking dealer sold me a used '05 Warrior telling me it was an '07 Midnite. (See Gallery)Wink
