    Backfire

i just got this bike and i get a back fire every now and again..  i dont know a whole lot about this bike or bike in general all i know is that it has a power commander (which I know nothing about or how to remap it) and i have after market pipes (BUB pipes) ive been talking to some friends and they say i should re map the power commander cuz it might be running to rich or to lean. any suggestion.

Im afarid the the backfire has damged one of the spark plugs because i am getting what almost sounds like a misfire . very subtle

Look at the bike in my picture and you will know just about as much as i do about this bike..

The bike sounds amazing though. rides like a champ, and looks great.

    Thank you very much

     BTW its a 2007 yamaha warrior 1700cc

    Check this link:

and do a search for AIS blockoff. See if your bike had the AIS (Air Induction System- if I

remember correctly) done. The system from the factory recycles exhaust gases back into

the cylinders which was done for emisions but causes a backfire but there is a kit by

Barons about $20 and a member of this 4M, Akitadog, which makes the plates but will

    need some touching up.
