2003+ bikes have both adjustable preload and rebound dampening. My 2003 doesn't pogo with adjustable lowering links and Eibach 1,000 pound spring, and rebound adjusted all the way.
Your's is a 2002, so . . .
Unless upgraded with '03+ shock, the 2002 bikes have a shock with adjustable preload, but not rebound dampening. You might double-check those posts and see what year the guys had, I don't recall any members with 2003+ bikes complaining about pogo (?) and the guys with 2002 bikes didn't seem to be saying the 1k spring's pogo was any worse than the pogo had been with the stock spring (?). I'm getting old hehe so double check me I'm probably wrong lol.
Sushi_Biker: I've read a few posts where people mention a "pogo-ing" effect on the older bikes after installing the 1000# spring. How bad is it? Enough that I shouldn't upgrade the spring? Does it negatively affect handling/cornering? My bike has the flip and grind done to it, just FYI. I already have a spring, I just haven't installed it yet. Thanks in advance.
