    I may buy Harley Davidson

Seriously! Not kidding! Not the bike though, the stock. HD is climbing out of financial Crapville by cutting loose of Buell and Agusta. They seem to have a descent financial plan. And, all the HD mullet heads will be getting more HD crap (t-shirts, boots, wallets, sunglasses, etc.) for Christmas from their family members. Might as well turn a buck off of them as well.

What say you HD mullets? By the way, when you HD owners open those neat little HD gifts at Christmas, just remember, good ol' 07 Midnite made a profit off of it. Sleep tight!Wink

Re: I may buy Harley Davidson

I sucked so bad at managing stock, I sold it all and went completely mutual funds.

I bought apple at 87.00 this year and sold it at ~93.00 (have you seen its recent high?).  Bought GM at around 2.50 when they first got a bailout then held it through ~6.00 and finally lost it when they halted trading on the symbol. (Oh, it'll rebound to at LEAST 10.00 I kept thinking.)   Think "Trailing stop" (Research it if you don't know.)

Lost about 6K this year in my short holding stock account...Bye bye ameritrade.  I had to stop fooling myself into thinking I could figure the timing out.

If I could just get a time machine and go back a couple years and short the housing/credit markets.

    Rides:
2003 Suzuki Volusia 800 (too small, sold)
2005 Yamaha Road Star Warrior 1700 (Awesome - medical reason forced sale
(Unfortunate, Unscheduled, Car Induced, Violent Bicycle Dismount)clicky details)
2006 Suzuki VStrom 1000 (GREAT deal forced trade)
2007 Yamaha FJR AE 1300 (FJR: Freakin Japanese Rocket)

If talking politics is out, how am I going to find out who the Idiots are?

So many beers.....so little human blood volume.

Just because you aren't paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you.

If Harley Davidson can pull out of debt again I'd start putting them on my stock portfolio, until then, there are much better companies that make just as good a return on investments and have no risk/debt to shut them down on a downturn quarter.

Don't get your hopes up meat-hook, I only said that I might buy some Harley Davidson stock, not a stock Harley Davidson. I wonder if their stock leaks oil too???Big Smile

BTW, are your friends GAY or something? Do they enjoy having guys wrap their arms around them from behind and squeeze up real close? Yipes, I'd never let a guy ride on back of my bike.

Wow, you showed them my picture? I had no idea that you cared enough about me to actually carry my picture around. I guess that makes you the ugly fat friend that hangs around with the good looking one trying to get my throw aways. Pretty desperate though, using my photo to pick up guys! Big Smile
