Carbon Fiber Parts from Independant Engineering

I wanted to take a moment and give a quick write up about the carbon fiber parts I put on my bike. One of our very own Independent http://rswarrior.com/members/Independent.aspx is in the market of fabricating carbon fiber parts and accessories. You all know him probably from the Front fairing build he has been working on the past couple of weeks ( http://rswarrior.com/forums/t/143452.aspx?PageIndex=1). I saw the prototype and it is quite impressive. His name is Jeff and he is a really great guy to do business with. He was professional, affordable, helpful, and only gives you more ideas for more mods. I would recommend doing business with him and I will do more business with him in the future. Best part he is an official site vendor now so no troubles.A while back I met Jeff in person in Lansing when a few of the Michigan warriors met up. Immediately seeing a lot of custom carbon fiber parts on his warrior I commissioned him to fabricate a set of carbon fiber pushrod tube covers and frame inserts. I was quite surprised how reasonable his prices were. Since he lives pretty close he even delivered the parts to me. What I can say is the parts are 1st class. Truly unique, great quality, and look BA. The Carbon fiber pushrod tube covers snap right on no real install. 2 seconds and snap I've changed the look of the motor. The Carbon fiber frame inserts just 3M tape right to the frame recess, and look really tough. Here are a couple crappy pics from my blackberry. I will take some better ones and post in the next couple of days. I know right now I sound like a marketing commercial for Jeff, but I wanted to post this to help get the word out. I haven't seen him pushing his own stuff hard yet I think because he was not an official vendor yet but now he is and I feel these parts deserve it.

    Feast your eyes....

    Hope this helps

Just remember if Yamaha really is dumping the warrior in 2010. Then we all have a collectors bikes now...

Glad someone has moved forward on these parts.  I tried making them, and it was daunting at best so my hats off to Independent.

Damn carbon eats regular saw blades pretty quick.....

Why yes son, once upon a time there was a hot rod of a bike, but only a few of us had the wisdom to realize it's value!, would you like to see one?

I don't have any of Indepentant's parts on my bike yet, but I have seen them in person as well, and can vouch for their look and quality. The carbon fiber doesn't really go with the look of my bike, but I am sure considering one of his fiberglass fairings when he starts cranking them out!
