    Rear wheel alignment help. Please.

I have searched and read every rear wheel alignment thread I could find. Tried everything I have found. I have the 240 swingarm I believe is a BMS. 18x8.5 rounded lip with a metz 240. Going from swingarm pivot to axle I can't get it even on both sides. Fairly close. If I get it even then the tire is into the swinger on the right side. I have tried everything I have read here to get to to track straight. I checked my axel with a straight edge and its straight. Anyone have any other ideas? Im on a damn smart phone so that doesnt help out my searching much either.

Try measuring from the back of your swingarm to the back of the axle blocks. Works like a charm for me.

Where did you get the swingarm? Is it new, did it come with the bike, ebay, swapmeet? Are you sure you've reassembled the rear wheel assembly correctly?

I bought it from darkstar. As nice as his stuff is I dont think it is the swing arm. I used the manual to make sure it was right. The best I can get is 1/16" diff.

Great talking to you. If the swingarm came from Darkstar it's fine.He has nothing but quality stuff. I believe from our conversation you're on the right track. You can use those tips I gave you create some addtional clearance in the fender area and center the wheel. Post some pics when it's all done.
