Well she's gone! Midnight_Run is done!

Man, it's been a long, amazing journey and it's time to take care of the kids.  I wasn't riding very much and sometimes I just felt the risk was too great.  So, I shipped her off to Illinois where she's got a new owner.  I told him to log in here and enjoy all the great things this forum has to offer.  Seriously, since Frankenstein got me involved, I met so many great people including 357Warrior, AlanH, Riverat, Amospro, BaddBob, KevinGonad, Scooterguy, WarStar, DarkStar, CatDaddy, Norbert,Yankee,Grady, Warrior of God, etc.  So many great rides and great times.  If I had to do it over again, I'd do it exactly the same.

I'll never forget the Dragon which was the experience of a lifetime.  Arizona and Tahoe were amazing and I'm glad we got the videos so we can always look back.  And who can forget the hats and tshirts!  So much fun.  Thanks again Oliver for nudging me into getting a bike again.

I'll check in from time to time and see how everyone is doing.  I'll be checking my PM's as well.  Take care everyone, have a great holiday and stay safe out there!

Erik, glad to know you and its sad to see you sell one of the most beautiful bikes here. Hopefully we gain another comrade with the new owner.

Selling the bike does not mean you are no longer part of us. Bikes come and go, friends are forever man. Take care of your family.

I've waffeled along the last 6 years. I should follow the same path but times are tough and both my bikes won't sell unless I give them away. Guess I haven't reached the breaking point yet, but I'm awfully close.

Hope all is well, It was great meeting you 4-5 years back out there at the beach.

    Take care,

    Shawn.

Another veteran gone. Don't go far, your experience will still be needed.

    Erik,

What an absolute blast that original Warriorfest was!  I feel like I made lifetime friends in that one week.  For sure lifetime memories.

I took the same path you are on now a couple of years ago.  I sure do miss the bike, but it was the right thing to do at the time.  I'm trying to decide what my next ride will be.

Enjoy the kids...as Ed said...they will be off and gone before you know it.

     Take good care.
