    Snowy Ride Who's Up

Well chaps it is that time of the year again and the Snowy Mountains are calling for the mechanical thorough breds to go rumbling through the mountains.

So who is coming this year?

Di and I will be at the Narellan Maccas at 0730 for an 0800 departure on friday.

For those of you that don't know it, it is on this weekend 06 - 08 Nov 2009.

     Any takers?

    Cheers

Well fellas you missed another OUTSTANDING weekend.

Met up with a lot of old friend and bumped into Matthew and Diane from Melbourne, great company and excellent riding.  Weather was to die for.

When we left Syd on Fri, the weather was not looking good but it all started to break up after Goulburn and then just got better and better.

Diane and I rode down alone as no one posted.  Left home at 0730 ant was at Nettin chalet at 1200.  Got the room and went shopping and refuelled as well.

Saturday we set off to Cooma, Bega for lunch, back though Bombala and some said let's go through Dalgety back to Jindabyne.  Well 10-15k of dirt road, wasn't that fun?

Dropped the girls off at the chalet and Matthew and I did a quick squirt to Thredbo to put in the stamped tickets.  Back to the chalet and drink more grog and dribble more sh!t.  Top time.

Sunday packed the bike breakfast, watched most of the riders depart and then about 0830 when the carpark was empty Diane and I departed.

First in, last out.  Got home around 1330 and watched the V8 super cars at Phillip Island.

As I said before, TOP WEEKEND.

Oh and yes Laurie, you absence was noted and you will be punished.

Were the sheep any good to keep you away?  Hahahahaha

Till next time. Stay cool and stay up right.

    Cheers

"some said let's go through Dalgety back to Jindabyne.  Well 10-15k of dirt road"

I know that road, if you look at the map it's the logical choice. I travelled it in a car and that was bad enough. Would've been hell on a bike. Fortunately when I was there on a bike someone knew the better route to take.

Sounds like it was another great weekend though. Was wishing I was there
