    PC III

Ok guys the only mods I have on my bike are bubs jug huggers, and Bak. I am wanting to know should I buy a PCIII. I have looked through the forum and the decision is split on if i should do the PCIII or the ECU bump. The only thing about the ecu is I realy dont like cutting important wires. I had a bad experience before (fried a computer in my 96 ford f350 powerstroke). Will I see a noticeable difference in power with the PCIII. Any advice will be helpful.

    Thanks guys.

Spend the $260 and buy a PCIII. http://www.fuelmotousa.com/

Fuel Moto is THE best place to buy a pre-mapped PCIII and the install is very easy.

Clipping the wires to bump the ECU is nearly impossible to get wrong and they are not considered to be important. Especially if you follow DFW_Warrior's instructions.

I did the bump for a short time after changing my exhaust. The only thing I did different was use a connector to ground instead of an aligator clip. Arrizona_Warrior (i think) used a switch.

I didnt get to play around with the ECU Bump too much before I found a great deal on a used PCIII. I havent had it dyno tuned yet but I have adjusted the fuel mixture and have reduced backfires.

Power Commanders are expensive. If I had to pay full price...I still wouldnt have one. You can get by without it until a deal comes along.

yeah, get a power commander.  I'd get the pcV, but either one and you'll be able to optimise your furel mixture no matter what performance mod you do in the future.

The price doesnt bother me. My wife was wanting to know what I was wanting for christmas and I told her a PCIII. What kind of performance will you get?

Yes, get the PCV for the Warrior.  Once dyno tuned, you'll have added HP because it can take advantage of your intake and exhaust mods.  It can also grow with your bike.

+1 on the PC 5.  Yes the website say's for 09's only; but the PC 5 will work with any year Warrior.  I have one on my 08 and I love it.  No cutting into wires or anything with the PC 5.  It takes about 10 minutes to install.

I jacked around with the ECU bump and got so frustrated on trying to get it right.  That's why I got the PC 5.

+2 on the PC-V.  I have one on my 02 warrior and it helped a lot.  FuelMoto will map it for free.  If you have a way to install O2 sensors, there is an auto-tune add-on that will tune you bike in real time.  Also, on the PC-V, there are no wires to cut, just 4 connections I think.  Fake is right about it taking 10 imnutes and most of that is taking off the tank.
