Shawn is a great photographer. I appreciate the beautiful shots he took of the nitrous Warrior. Regarding the color, I actually had/have all the paint in hand to shoot it the F-1 Mercedes Silver with black and red trim. After shooting the black urethane primer-sealer, I got lazy and in a hurry to get it out to the track, so I didn't continue with the color and left it as is. So far, it's gotten a lot of compliments but, who knows, tomorrow's another day.
I'm still in the process of dialing in the new nitrous system. There are some electrical glitches that are causing the controller to turn off intermittently during the runs. I believe it is the crappy tach signal messing up the window switch. I'm using a Wizard of Nitrous system from the UK with a Schnitz controller set to ramp up to 70 horse from 30 in a half second during each gear. I'm getting a full monte computer management system from the same outfit that will allow me to have separate settings for each gear, and will also have other features like AFR closed loop nitrous tuning, offsets, frequency adjustments for the solenoids, etc. I'm working directly with the owner of the company who is building me the unit features to meet my needs. I will be eventually running up to 130 horse of nitrous on top of the 100 (Rear wheel) engine horsepower, and will need to control it carefully. The progressive system along with the timing control and E85 fuel are going to really make some numbers when I get it dialed in. Again, I'm making almost nines at over 130 mph with only 70 horsepower not even working all the time. Stay tuned.
