Integrated Tail Light from Clear Alternatives - For Sale

    Hi guys,

I have a 2005 warrior midnight edition which i just bought this year. I was planning on changing my taillight to a sequential one. I went to a store and ordered the light but the wrong one came in. I really would like to sell this brand new tailight in its original package (never been opened). Is anyone intersted in it. Part number is CTL-0079-IT. Here is the link from where i ordered it from. Price came to around $150.00 Canadian with shipping. I have to order another one now and really would like not to loose money on this. I would like to sell this brand new light for $125 Canadian. Anyone interested?

    Arnt.

Clear Alternatives is pretty good company.  I think they would allow you to exchange/return the unit.

Where are you at, Arnt? Nice to see another Canuck here...I'm in northernAlberta, btw. Is this item an integrated/sequential, or just a replacement stock unit?

    Hey Dan,

I am in Vancouver. Sorry, i just signed into the Forum and need to update my profile. This tailight is the integrated one but not sequential. See website below:

     http://clearalternatives.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=CA&Category_Code=WARRIOR

I wanted to get the sequential one which is a bit more expensive but the store i bought my bike from didnt understand what i wanted. So they ordered this one. Would like to sell it to someone that is in need for one. It is brand new and i think price is reasonable. I could take some pictures but would like not to open the box since everything is still brand new and sealed in plastic.

FYI, I've got the CA LED mod kit ... the one where you split the stock tail light glass, install the kit, and reseal the tail light assembly, on your own. If this is what he is selling, it has my vote! ....Was the process a PITA? Yes. Is the end result worth it? Yes. ... and that's a big yes! The 1st owner had replaced the stock turn signals with those little bullet shaped LEDs. They are worthless on their own. And I was always waiting to get run over by someone not seeing my signal. I left then in place and added the CA LED kit. I can't tell you how much safer I feel. Better than the turn signals, the brightness of the brake light and the way it momentarally strobes each time the brake is applied makes me feel so much safer that I don't know how to describe the peace of mind it brings. And with all the questions I get from other riders, one of the most common is "is that tail light stock? Where did you get it?"

I don't go overboard braggng on products. But I really like this thing!

    Peace out,

    Steve

    Steve,

The light i have is the standard LED integrated tail light as seen on the above posted site from clear alternatives. It is a clear lense and not smoked. You dont have to go the route of splitting the casing open and then resealing it. You can by the light of the shelf. That way you dont run into the danger of cracking the plastic housing while doing it. At least i have done it for the non sequential one without the kit and replaced the transistor on the led board. Transistor came loose of the solder. So i soldered it back on there. It works perfect. Stock light is awesome and i wanna keep it.

See posting http://rswarrior.com/forums/t/139394.aspx . Should be helpful.

    Hope this helps.

Vancouver? Cool...my original home town. Have some family there still in West Van and Kits.

Thanx for the info, but I would prefer the sequential version.  I hope you find a buyer for it here, or else Ebay!Yes
