I love it! The power delivery is silky smooth. The only backfiring I had was when the bike was still cold; after it warmed up it never back fired again. I highly recommend the PC V to anybody. It took 5 minutes to install, just like the other guys were saying; it took longer removing the tank than installing the PC V.
I downloaded this map from this site http://rswarrior.com/files/folders/pciii_maps/entry1072985.aspx I ran great until I got into the higher RPMS, the flat spots where so bad I felt like I was going to fall forward off the bike. I will have to find a better map for my bike (any PC V guys want to share their maps with me that have the same mods?)
I emailed dynojet and this was the email reply:
Our pre developed map # M22-011-027 is the closest to your setup that we currently have available in our map database library. The air flow characteristics between the two setups should be similar enough for the map to work for you as a starting point You also always have the option to have the bike dyno tuned and custom mapped specifically for your bike's setup and or riding style if you like at one of our approved tuning centers in you local area if you want to get it 100% optimized.
If you have any more questions let us know.
Thanks

Problem is, map M22-011-027 is for Bub Chubermaid with baffle, Yamaha power up kit, Open velocity stacks. This doesn't sound anything like my set up.
