I don't want to start a huge car tire bike tire fight but  CAR TIRES Belong on Cars Not Bikes

    Right

You ain't putting one of those on a Warrior and keeping up with my fat old @ss. I will see you at the rest stop.

If poking along to the grocery store it would probably be ok but who does that?

Dunlop Roadsmarts are another dual compound tire, again no 200's

Not so...I'm running the Roadsmarts (200 rear), 4000 miles on them, and they're not that bad of a tire. I guess they're a love/hate tire. IMHO they are a tire for the more modest rider, who likes to take twisties every so often. I'm a moderate to agressive rider, and I've found that the sides are wearing away too fast for my taste, but the centers are in great shape. The tires are far from worn out though.

Don't you find that transition from the 'high' center to the worn sides unsettling?  Felt like going over what we call tarsnakes out here. They are significantly cheaper than the Storms but I couldn't wait to change them. Never had a bald left side and steel belts showing on a tire before.

Yeah, I did notice that, but it's not too bad...The price was definately right on them, so I had to at least give them a try. Like I said, they are for the more relaxed rider that needs to have more center tread life. I will be going back to the Storms when the time comes...Smile
