I do actually work in paint and body, one thing you may not have heard of is called an "eraser wheel". It is a rubberish wheel that you can stick in to your drill (it has a bit stuck in the middle of it) I use it to take off stickers, two way tape, and other type of adhesives on cars, best part is it won't mess with paint, a little hand polish will bring it right back afterwords. I have not tried it on super glue though and don't use it on or near plastic as it does eat plastic, just tape over plastic if it is close to problem area.
If that doesn't work I would try laquer thinner, or gun cleaner as we call it. Laquer shouldn't remove an oem baked finish, but It will haze up your clear coat, but it too can be brought back with a slightly more abrasive polish than the eraser wheel.
Last but not least is sanding. Start with 12-1500 grit paper wet sand, finish with 2000-3000 grit then buff with extra cut compound, then buff with finish compound,
If you want to re-emblem there's a few ways to go about that too, the classic two sided tape, is always handy, but it doesn't work well on smaller emblems, if that is what you have, I have some good stuff for that too but can't remember the name of it, but I can get a part # if you want. Let me know, I'm actually ordering some now as I used it up on friday.
