    Stage IV versus Reg. warrior

Anybody with a stage IV kit raced a warrior without any internal mods? If so, how bad was the beating!

I've ridden a warrior with just the external stage IV mods and it was a lot stronger than mine with speedstar pipe, velocity stacks, and PC-V.  They are strong muthers!!!

I know the voices aren't real, but they do have some good ideas.

Rumor has it that a stage IV Warrior will almost keep up with a Harley.  An 883 Sportster, that is.  Stick out tongueSurpriseDevil

That's not cold, it's ignorant! He'd be lucky if his bike would actually keep up with a stock Warrior at the strip much less a Stage IV. He know's not to jack with a Stage IV at the strip, atleast I hope so. Otherwise he would go home with a lot less cash in his wallet. Sorry, truth hurts sometimes.Surprise

Almost as fast as the 883, sure - but it does get noisey listening to the Warrior coast with the motor turned off and dragging the kickstand on the street vs a 883 Hardley running WOT.  That is about the only time a 883 is going to beat a Stage IV Warrior. Party!!!

It would be an 883 hugger in pink, loaded up with two 350 lb drunk red heads...

I wish you two were here in MT, so we could take some rides together... LOL! Stick out tongue

Never raced head to head.... but did notice a huge difference in the upper revs, After the work was done... 5th gear rev limiter comes pretty quickly!

What is top speed on a Stage IV Warrior at the 5th gear rev limiter? Do you have the extra R's with the Speedstar ECU?

I don't remember exactly. I think mine has hit 140-ish on a long stretch of road when I had a stock R6 rear wheel on my Warrior.

I have since removed the injectors and ECU for economy. The 240 rear wheel I have doesn't help top end at all!
