Nursing takes a very special person to do. I wish you all the luck in the world. I have always enjoyed animals more than most peoples company so I could never do a job with people complaining all around me. 

Good for you Sang.I didn't finish my BS degree until I was 39, then went on to an MA. Got that finished in 1999. It's never too late my friend. Good for you.

.I should have got laid off a long time ago, this school stuff is easy when you've got lots of time to study.

It also helps wen you are old enough to really realize your future depends on how you do and parties aren't really all that important!  Congrats on the grades Sang, keep it up!

 LOL, in fact I do know quite a few nurses and physician assistants, but none from my crashes. I walked away from 4 out of 5 of them.

 

Got past my midterms a few weeks ago and am about to go on fall break for a week. Got 100% on my A&P midterm and have several quizzes and test since then. With about a month left, my cumulative score is still 100% for Anatomy & Physiology. As for Microbiology I killed the midterm, got a 113% after the curve and I have a 106%  total for that class. So school is still going quite well. I am hoping to get an academic scholarship next year.

Fantastic news!  Stick with it!  Are you at all thinking about a specialty when you finish?  Trauma, neuro, pediatrics, etc.?

Good for you dude.  I started college again last year.  It is the easiest thing in the world. I don't know why I had such a hard time with it 18 years ago.  But after I dropped my son off a Texas Tech, I decided I should go back and get my degree. Anyway, every class has been an A so far, where it used to be mostly Cs in the past.  Going to class is also a nice break from reality.

Wow Steve you really are smarter than you look, .  Seriously I'm more than a little envious of both your grades and your ability to go back to school, I wish that I could afford to.  Good job man.

 Rock on, Sang!  My brother did the same when he got sick of driving a towtruck.  He's superintendent of a school district in N Ohio now. Just stopped in to see him when I rode over to see my folks in Marietta in Aug. Has a nice little acreage with a building for all his toys.
