Oh NO! Not that crap again, another stupid chrome thread again. It's my choice to be shiney. You're just stupid if you don't have chrome. Loud chrome saves lives! If you go down without any chrome, you're in trouble. Do you know how many lives could be saved with just a little chrome in the right places? What's your problem with a chrome whore, we're people too! We have needs! The ulitmate choice is yours but I'm writing my congressman and urging him to vote chrome!!!!

I like when the chrome discussion goes in the direction of "Any twit with a few bucks can have chrome but only a REAL biker will have sweet polished aluminum!".  That's like saying "Any intelligent good looking guy can have a gorgeous smart wife but only a TRUE man marries a braindead fat slob of a pig like MY wife!".  Sure, they both have their plusses and minuses but so do an old beat up truck and a shiny new Porshe.  Guess which one I'm taking if it's offered.  You can be as proud as you want of your shiny aluminum and I commend the effort but considering it's still dull in comparison wouldn't it have been more fun to spend those hours riding?

I don't have a midnight, but I agree.

Also chrome don't get you home. 

I feel much safer knowing I have added extra chrome goodies to my bike. And that chrome cam cover; a dyno certified 20 extra horsepower.
