    Dennis,

Prayers sent.  We are so sorry to hear this news.  Tell us what you need and if we can help we will.  It sounds like your bike is in Oregon.  Does your Dad live in Oregon?  Do you need secure storage, or someone to trailer your bike home while you attend to your father?   If wifey and I can help, even if just to any pesky minor details out of your hair, we will.

I cant say I can really understand what you are going through. I did watch my wife go through this with her father when she was 18. Keep your head up. It sounds like you have more to be happy about. Praise the Lord you and your Father are that close. Your a good man.

This is indeed a tough load to bear. It is good to see that there are still good, stand-up guys in our country that honor their parents as you are.  You not only do a great service to your father, but also to alot of here. Thanks!  You and your family are in my Prayers...Craig from Tampa

It is your father's generation that made this country great, safe, heck...America.

The bikes will always be there, but people won't.  Do what you gotta do.  Prayers.

Dennis, You have my thought and prayers. I too am fortunate to have my father as my best friend. He is my best man in my wedding next month. Strong man, never asked for anything. He is a great role model as your dad obviusly is as well. My grandmother was in hospice care at home and I took 2 months off work to be there with her. One of the many things she taught me in life was that you don't tell people you love them, you show them. You are a class "A" man for being there with your dad and best friend and I am positive it means the world to him to have you there. Its people like you and him that keep this world turning.

I wasn't sure for the past several weeks if I should post my personal struggle in an open and public forum. I hesitated for a long time but I'm glad I did, everyones responses helped a lot and I thank you all very much. At 3:45 this morning, my dad passed on, I was with him at the time and although he never said anything, I hope he knew I was there. Now all I have to do is figure out how to handle it. I already miss him

He knew you were there.  You did the right things and showed him your love and respect.  Sharon and I are very sorry for your loss, which is also heaven's gain, so hang tight because it all works out.  Let us know if you need anything.
