    warrior vs 2010 ss camero

Went to the track last night and got to line up next to a spanking new ss camero. Cannot recall power numbers for it but does have the supercharged vet engine in it. I got a nice jump on him but he did catch me at the end. I kept having shifting issues, this was the first time I have ever taking a bike down a drag track. He got me by about 1/2 a second but I was riding 3rd gear/rev limiter for quite a while. Must say that is one damn fine looking car.

Shifting can be a good thing.Big Smile   Beter luck next time.  A friend of mine rented a Camaro a couple of weeks ago, Just a V6 though. he and his wife both loved the exterior.  Both said the interior sux.  Too small inside, poor visibility and cheap materials.  Broke my heart to hear that.

Sounds like you woulda had him, if you could have shifted to 4th. I wonder what that was all about?? I've never had trouble getting into and out of gears on the Warrior. Maybe your clutch needs adjustment...

I believe the when it put it back together the end of the shift lever ended up a little high so i need to adjust it down a little. Also the shift lever is bent up a little but from a drop that happened a couple months back. I tried cluchless shifting and just holding the throttle down and using the cluch. Both gave me a little trouble but overall worked well. Dying to get the hp pistons and speedstar cams installed now. I would happy if I can get to mid-high 11's.

Sounds like a pretty good 1st run, even w/ the shift issues.

What was your time? 2010 Camaro SS has an naturally aspirated(not supercharged) LS3 with 426HP, unless the owner added an aftermarket one.

I'd be willing to bet with your shift issues and the Camaro owner probably not having many trips down the strip it would be in the high 12's low 13's....If you were able to really get into it I might say low 12's but that's getting into Corvette territory and GM has been known to try and keep the Camaro OUT of that territory.

I think GM's own claim for the camaro is 13 flat.
