I should have noticed sooner that all of the pictures of Warriors at the Insight web page is the same exact bike in retawgeel's gallery...coincidence? I think not.....I think you were right on Mike-

I am a customer of insight customs, I have referred his shop to people, I will continue to refer his shop to people, and will continue to do business with Insight Customs. It's hard to not plug a company to someone when they tell you how nice your bike looks and ask where it was done. I purchased a 2005 midnight warrior from a friend that needed to get out of his payments situation. In researching some ideas of what to do to my warrior to make it my own, I stumbled across this website, and became a member.(you guys really know how to make people spend money with the current mods forum) I then tried to find someone to do the difficult work for me; Insight custom's name came up by a local motorcycle shop that didn't want anything to do with mods, and by a local Yamaha dealership. I met with Ben we talked about what I wanted to do, we came up with a price that I was comfortable with, I paid 50% upfront and we started out, Of course as the mod bug hits and I asked him to add an integrated taillight, and to add a back up camera system ( that BTW rocks) I made sure that I kept at least 50% of the money aspect ahead of him, he designed the parts that hold my monitor in place on my handlebars and incorporated it into my brake reservoir, and he mounted the camera into my tailight lens... not an easy task without shattering the plastic lens. I couldn't be happier with the work that was done. That was just the beginning of my relationship, he has helped me out with repairs and mods on several other bikes I have purchased and sold. Within the last few months he (his shop) also installed AIR FX air ride on my warrior... another awesome job, with no problems. I currently have a 99 R1 at the shop that has the clutch ripped off the side, and I have full confidence in Ben and insight customs.

I was apalled to read this thread, and I know there must be other components involved. Some people are looking at the fact that he is not responding as an admission of guilt, but since I have had business deals with Ben and Insight Customs, I will say with confidence that his lack of defending himself and his company is due to respect for his customer, and possibly not wanting to air Paranormal's dirty laundry.

I am not a regular post up person, and I do not regularly add or change pics in my gallery, but take a look at my profile and pics and 3rdday's pics, his bike was almost complete when I originally found Ben and Insight Customs. There are also pics of my bike on the Insight Customs website in the Bike gallery.

I think I will stop in and see Ben tonight, I have a little fun money saved up and I really need some custom handlebars. I may have rambled on a bit, but I cannot beleive how this bandwagon was jumped on by a few people on this site.... burn down a business? really?.... take a ride and rough him up? really? do some of you ride Harley's and belong to a gang? I sympathize with you Paranormal, but know something else must be behind the scenes. Thanks for reading my post.

You sir are a shyster and a LIAR. You logged in under this name earlier in this thread claiming to be a happy customer of Insight Customs and it turns out it was you all along Ben.  Apparently you don't have any happy customers to come on here and defend you.  I bet you even accedentally logged in under the wrong name didn't you. This is proof positive to me that you sir are a liar. I am done.

Mr. Moderator I would welcome a call from you if you have any questions on this but i do wish you only and you can relay the outcome to the forum. This letter is not meant to bash "paranormal" In any way and i feel i did not take in that direction. I wish him the best in finishing his project and hope it turns out well.   Ben TaylorInsight Customs INC.

So which alias am I supposed to call, Ben at Insight or this supposed "happy customer" that is actually just Ben pretending to be someone with something good to say???. Do you have multiple personalities or are you just a bad con man that can't keep his lies straight?  Sounds like a waste of time either way.

I beleive this forum has just ended the career of another bolt on wanna be custom bike builder.Paranormal we all feel for you and the way you were done is no way the way any custom bike builder does anyone.I beleive ol Ben here got in way over his skill grade .Hope it works out and sooner or later people like him get what they deserve in the end .The bad thing is you probably wont be there to see it .Although i hope you are the one to put the final nail in his coffin.Good luck it sounds like there is plenty of help here for you as far as getting your bike together me included if i can in anyway.Fairwell to another wanna be.

This doesn't really have much to do with the situation specifically (which by the way is extremely unfortunate and I hope it turns out good for you in the end Para) but I have to ask as a matter of curiosity...  How come people can repeatedly list their Warriors in the classifieds section as a "custom" and go on and on about all the "custom" parts (bolt on retail pieces they bought at Phats) they had in their "build" but when someone corrects them and says it's "customized, not custom" half of you throw a fit but this guy represents himself as a custom builder (obviously he's not) and everyone calls him a bolt on wanna be?  I agree with the assesment but I'm just curious what's different other then a severe dislike of Benny boy.  Confused

Here are the two post you posted earlier in the thread.  Thats 3 total post of yours. Why don't you learn how to use the site before you start accusing our mods of pulling your posts. Funny you never showed you face around here before this started. You are probably Ben posing as another "happy customer."

How can you defend him? He just got caught red handed in a lie. Why should we believe anything he says?

    fisheye:

Well some thing don"t seem right,i have had Dealings with INSIGHT CUSTOMS for many many years, and they don't work that way.

I don't think your telling the whole story, it would be nice to hear his side of it, before every body starts judging them. Ben and Kelly our some of the most honest people i know.Ask any person that has had a bike done by INSIGHT and i bet they never had any issues. Mabe it's just you.Lets be honest.

I don't buy any of this crap, i know how they work. So do us a favor, pay the man, and pick up your bike, and quit whining.

    fisheye:

I don't work for INSIGHT, but i wish i did, i had them put a 300 wheel kit and he made me a custom exhaust and they were wonderful/no problems.

So now you a expert because you had 52 more posts than me.I was working on bikes in Bagdad  , before you were in your dads bag!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now who is the douche  Fisheye
