This website has a bug. The forum index should show the poster and date of the first post below the thread title, and the poster and date of the last reply in the column to the right. Instead, below the thread title, it correctly displays the name of the thread creator but displays the date of the last post next to it, instead of the first post.

Here's an example:

 TECK is the thread creator, but he created the thread on April 23rd. But it mistakenly prints the date of the last reply (by baclay9) next to TECK's name. It is meant to display the date TECK created the thread there.

It shows the most recent posting to show the viewer's that it is a current topic. Do yourself a favor and don't sweat the small stuff. It is a motorcycle forum and in our world not all things are created perfect.....

I'm a programmer so I guess this sort of thing jumps out at me. Mainly I like first-post date to differentiate between newly-created threads and old but ongoing threads. And I'm sure it's an extremely trivial fix; likely just changing a single variable.
