Do you leave it to the left or right?

I was at a bike night last night and was looking at a row of bikes parked in the lot.  You know how it looks when all the bikes are parked nice and neat in a row, every once in a while a bike would stand out b/c they leave the front end turned differently from the rest...

So I was just wondering, when you park your bike do you leave the front steered to the left or right?  any particular reason why?  Do you think it's more likely to fall over if you leave it steered a certain way?

Mine is lowered about an inch and it seems I get more lean angle if I leave the front turned to the left...How about you?

I have mine pointing left most of the time.  No particular reason, that's just the way I have always done it.

I like the lines of the bike when it's parked with the wheel straight...but if I am hanging my helmet off the throttle/front brake, then I turn it left so it doesn't bump the fuel tank.

When I read the subject on this post I wasn't thinking this post was about the handlebars on the bike...

I leave my handle bars to left.  Coincidently I also hang my, err, manhood to the left.  In both cases it just doesn't feel natural to the right.

I usually leave mine straight ahead.

I do both depending on how I want it when I park it as I like the way that it looks with them to the right with my fairing.

when the bike is on the side stand parked the natural way for the handlebars to go is to the left, because of the rake and trail and how it effects the steering it will usually want to turn the bars that way .if you park your bike next time ,stop shut the bike off put the stand down with the bike still straight up and wheel centered then lean the bike over on the stand , with no hands on the bars,....     thats why most are pointed left ,,   cya btk572

i like my wheel straight. makes the bike look like its going fast and lets me have a good look at the lines of my bike. i love my bike. i have and do stand on my bikes seat whie its on the side stand and it barley moves. im not worried about it falling over. in fact im pretty sure me and my chick have both stood on it at the same time for a picture once..

I turn it left so I can lock it. If im not on the bike or working on the bike, its locked. Period.

Re: Do you leave it to the left or right?

I turn it to the far left when I hang my helmet on the right grip and to the far right if I want less lean because of uneven ground. Other than that I try to keep it straight for the look. To the left does seem to be natural though.

i am a bit concerned that the group is so "left leaning". is there some hidden agenda to convert warrior owners from the free thinkers they once were to "commie pinko leftists"?

99 % of the time it is to the left and locked unless i am near by or working on it etc. then it is usually strait, almost never to the right.

Before I lowered the rear, I kept it to the right(because it looked cool that way).  But now it feels like it will fall over with the bars to the right.  So to the left it goes
