    Smoked a Fatty!

Fat Bob that is.  Went riding today with a group of guys from work.  One pimped out 1100 Vstar,  three HD Ultra (aka geezer) Glides, and one 08 HD Fat Bob. I was leading the group on what I had planned to be a nice relaxing ride. But I knew the loudmouth on the Fat Bob wouldn't be able to handle it. See, he's always bragging his bike up and saying how fast it is since he put a power commander, slipons, and a hypercharger on it. (BTW, my 08 warrior is bone stock) So we turned of one road and on to another when he cruised up beside me and nodded his head at me.  Alright, I'm thinking, let's get this over with so I can shut you up. We both whack the throttle at the same time, and let me tell you, it wasn't even a race. The warrior lunged forward and all he saw was taillight and water heater for the next 1/4 mile or so. I slowed down and he pulled up next to me again shaking his head. I gave him a big smile and rode on. Later, just to have a little fun with the whole group, I led them down a fairly curvy road and chuckled at the tank-like harleys every time I accelerated through a curve while they all slowed down for them. God I love my warrior!

My buddy just bought a 09 fat bob,  i rode it around the block it was really smooth but I dont think it was as fast or has as much torq as mine. It wasnt real comfortable either but I am just used to mine. How much hp does it have compared to a warrior.

yeah my neighbor has a fat bob. Its a good looking bike but I just can't give up my Warrior. My neighbor calls my bike the Yamarocket. He can keep his 50 mpgs and I'll keep my hp and tq. Like I said I like the looks but I like my warrior.

    Re: Smoked a Fatty!

Mmmm... I stopped at the harley dealer with my uncle yesterday so he could buy a 15 dollar brush to clean his wheels. (It has a harley emblem on it) In the corner was a new road glide screaming eagle. I am ashamed to say I was over in the corner caressing and licking it. I don't even care if its faster or slower than the warrior, but that thing would look so good in my garage. If I ever do buy a harley, that will be the one. What an awesome looking machine.. I have a friend that had a fat boy with a wide tire and some other mods that could hang with his own sons gsxr750 red light to red light.
I think I will not pay taxes this year...

Went riding around today with a few Warrior Rider's. Maybe it was my experience or their lack of, but they sure had a hard time keeping pace with my Fat Slow HD.Surprise LoL!

Good lookin' bike Darkstar!  I got nothin' against Harleys, just the loudmouth that happened to be on the back of that Fat Bob!  Talk all you want as long as you can back it up.  If you're gonna tell me how much better you're bike is than mine, then it better be!

     Darkstar,

What are the 110 Screaming Eagle bikes with the springer front ends?  Beautiful bikes with beautiful sanded metal flames paint jobs.  Not a huge fan of the springer frontends, never riden one to know how they handle.  The only thing not pretty was the $28,000 price tag. Local dealer had two of them, one blue and one yellow.

Just be careful out riding this weekend since it seems that every LEO in the state is working.

I know the voices aren't real, but they do have some good ideas.

I want to die while asleep like my grandfather, not screaming in terror like the passengers in his car.

You still tryin to sell that beautiful Warrior?! Why the hell hasn't someone bought that thing yet? If you ask me it's a bargain at twice the price you're asking with everything you've done to it. You do have a great looking collection Darkstar.Yes

Stock, they are just so-so (Fat Bob's).  Of course, they are 7 cubes shy of the mighty Warrior's engine displacement.

I got a raised Fat Bob with just 1 more cubic inch in the motor than a stock Warrior and 50 lbs more weight besides.  As long as your Warrior won't crush a full Yamaha Stage IV Warrior, it won't keep up with my FB on the straights, and maybe not in any twisties as well.

BTW, the engine work I had done to the Fat Bob was the same amount of dollars as a full Yami Stage IV kit.Cool
