Tidewater Area ride to Naggs Head/ NC Coast

I am thinking of coming down for the Def Leppard/Poison/Cheap Trick show on 7/11.  If I get some folks to go to the show (I think $25 for lawn), I would like to ride the coast and then rock the night out.

Who is interested in the ride?  The show?

    Roll Call

    1) Mr. Noize - going to the concert
    2) OldMan in a 2 wheel EZ Chair - concert?

Might meet up with y'all to hang out but trip to OBX would be a bit much for me, still going slow and getting back used to riding bikes...

Planning, yes.  I just found out the wife won't be here that weekend and she said she'll even take the dog north with her when we get back from Florida so I will be free to do whatever.  I can not guarantee what shape my back will be in, but I sure want to go to that concert!  The last rock concert I went to wasn't even a rock concert cuz the "Rock" wasn't around then.

It's not like there's any twisties on that ride.  Traffic will be heavy enough it will be a nice leisurely pace I'm sure.   We could even put you in the middle so you'd have a buffer at each end.   Love to have you ride along but it's your call.  If all you want is a meet and greet that will be fine too.

Ok! So I spoke with Mr. Noize today on the phone...He told me about this little trip you all planned. Or are at least working on the plan...Anyway...I think I'm up for a cruise to Nags Head...Don't think I'll do the concert though...Always seem to attract trouble when I go to concerts, so I'm over them.

I might even get some of my fellow Club members to tag along with us... Big Smile

    I'll check back here later!

You would make a great secretary but how do you ride in your skirt Bubba? Devil

BTW while recently in Texas, the wife noticed the dude and chick on the Harley were both wearing kilts.  Not a pretty site when riding at 60 mphs with the kilt blowing in wind.

We get back from underway at the end of the week and I might be able to sneak out for the ride down.  When you guys heading out?

Roger, I hope you can make it.  Also I will call Maurice and Ruben.  I am thinking 10 or 11 AM since it is only about 2 1/2 hour ride each way.

    Let's us know.

I'm back.  Well, back long enough for a quick post at least.   I am still on for the ride, need to know when and where to meet, but won't be making the concert.
