    Project slow build

I'm starting to get her the way I want her, as quickly as a broke ass flight student can do it at leastBig Smile.  I'll update this thread as I go.  Suggestions and comments always welcome.  Here's a couple pics of my progress, first one is the way I bought the bike, updated ones have the new TT bars, jug huggers, and Corbin hollywood seat installed.  Next on the short list is Churchkey's kit, AIS block off, PCIII, hidden rear caliper, mirrors, and getting rid of those huge turn signals.  After that the wheels need to be replaced or chromed, they were pretty rough when I bought the bike, and I'm working on a few paint schemes for it, but I haven't settled on one just yet.

I'm also still trying to figure out what to do with the hook on the fender for the stock seat, I still put the stocker on to ride two up, so I guess I'm just going to leave it.  I''m not sure.

On the short short list you could pull that sticker off the swingarm! Stick out tongue

    It's coming along nicely!

What the crap was up with the original exhaust? - I don't think I've ever seen that mod before...

agreed, the one on the swing arm and the one on the rear fender that used to be under the stock seat are both coming off tonight.  I actually hadn't really noticed the one on the swing arm until I took the low shots of the bike.

As far as the exhaust well, as best as I can figure it was a hard krome 2-1 exhaust.  The chrome was badly pitted and it was rusting from the pits.  The PO had started to wrap it to cover it up and I guess that was as far as he got with it.  Huge improvement to the lines of the bike getting those pipes off there.
