hey all,  I just got a call from my dealer saying that 08-09 Warriors have a recall on the return fuel line....has anyone else heard of this or had t done.  I moded my fuel line when I did the left side clean up.  It this the line they are referring?  Let me know. thx.

Haven't heard anything for my 08

The left side fuel line is the line that feeds the tank under the seat. The return line is the dry break under the seat from the back of the main tank.

 Thanks Daboy.  Well that is the line that is being recalled...If anyone has an 08-09 model please refer to your dealer for the recall.

yeah just got a letter in the mail from yamaha for all 08-09 warriors both colors return fuel line had the damn thing for 2 weeks and already getting recalls yay lol

 I recieved the recall notice for my 08 a couple days ago.  Apprently the fuel return line needs to be replaced.  The recall notice states that it is not a safety issue, but rather an emissions issue.  After reading this I thought about not doing the recall just because I hate other people working on my vehicles.  But further in the letter it states that if the recall isn't performed it could be considered "neglect" and the warrenty could be voided.  So I'll be calling up the dealership within the next few days to schedule an appointment.  I don't like it.  But it has to be done.  

 Just be glad its only a fuel line.  The 02 group had fuel tank recall, tranny recall (raped the motor at dealership), TPS/CPS and who knows what else to come.  Fuel line sounds like a quick repair with a couple of clamps.  Word of advise, take the service manager a 6 pack of beer when you pick up the bike for special treatment the next time you are in.  They will remember you and can be very helpful with the small issues that come up.

Got my letter.  It's just an emissions thing and is not a safety recall.

My warranty is up in a lil over a month anyways.  I'm not going to let the dealer touch my bike.
