Thanks Duke but I have to go with the most pullback I can find.  So far that's the Chubby, not sure I like that name, with 14 1/2.   The closer to straight up I can be the better.

I was looking at these before I got the Yammi bars. They looked pretty good but

do they hit the tank when turning the bars left or right?

No, they clear the tank with no problems.

You are using the 4" rise? if you had the 6" would  you be able to see the speedo?  Also were you able to get all the wireing and cables inside the bars or just wireing

Cables never go inside the bars.  Just the wires.  If you want go cableless you need a bike with an ECU controlled throttle, and an electric clutch if such a thing exists.

14.5 is a great pull back, but a 4" rise is really short.  I have the Carlini Super Sweeps.  They have a 1.5 inch bar with a 7" rise and a 10." pull back or a 9" rise with an 11.5" pull back.  I'm pretty sure I have the 9"/11.5" bar, but I will have to measure to make sure.  I bought them a few years back.  I'm 5"7" (well almost ) and I no longer have to lean forward to reach my bars.

RC51 - when you installed these, were you able to use the stock wiring and cables (did the stock front brake line reach)?  My current handlebar mod is the stock bar (07) with the Barons Custom riser for an additional 1.5 inch pullback - but the front brake line is at its limit, and would only reach at all with the bars angled very low.  Thanks.

Yeah can you post pictures of the bars, particularly side view and a view when you're sitting on the bike? I am 5'6 and these bars do seem like they would be comfortable. Were there any fitment issues you had?

    OldMan:

I would prefer 1 1/2 bars but pullback is most important for me right now.  I can always make weights for the ends of the bars to cut down on the vibration.

I've had the exact same set of bars on my bike since last November. Vibration is not bad and the pullback is great....I broke my collar bone in June 2008, I've been riding with a broken collar bone until May of this year when I had my collar bone reconstructed. The vibration was mild and I experienced very little fatigue. I recently wired the bars internally and had no problems with that either. Hope this helps.

This is an incorrect statement, you can actually had twist grips for the throttle and a twist clutch as well. Mike just finished his bars and the wires and cables are internal. Exile cycles makes a twist clutch that you can use to run those cables internally on the bars...not to be a ***...you can find what you're looking for to run the cables internally but they'll still be visible at some point...cables are just that cables. ECU controlled throttle (ride by wire, throttle-by-wire) set-ups are becoming increasingly common on bikes. All new Super sport bikes have it and the new Hardleys are running it as well.

For the life of me I never understand why this style of handlebar is so popular. I got rid of them as soon as possible. I found them ugly, uncomfortable and so 90's. I had those type of bars on my 1993 Harley back in 1993. Hello welcome to the new millenium!!!

I put custom clubman bars with choppers inc 6-gun risers, grips and pegs. Much more agressive styling and it pulls me down emough to get behind my Givi windshield so that I can keep up with my Ducati friends.

Some of us can't ride like that.  I have to have something that will sit me up straight.  I see the leaning forward as SO young kid.  I'm not a young kid so I need to ride with something that more SO 60s.  For the life of me, I never understand why the leaning forward style is so popular.  it's not goo don your back at all. Hello, welcome to old age.

Actually, what I can't understand is why this is the second or third post in the past few days were someone thinks his way is the only way.  You folks need to look around.  We don't all dress like you, act like you, or want our bikes to be just like yours.
