    Re: WF5 Open discussion

    Shag:

'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the camp.

Not a Warrior was stirring, the night air was damp.

Their helmets were placed at the foot of their beds,

While visions of dragon-slaying danced in their heads.

When out by the burn pit there arose such a sound

They all jumped out of bed to see what'd come around.

And what in the world did they see by the fire?

A Harley Street Bob, with smoke pouring from the tire.

With a fat jolly rider, twisting way back the throttle,

They knew in a moment he must be hittin' the bottle.

He hit third gear, his front tire came up,

And they knew then and there they were sh!t outta luck.

But they heard him exclaim as he rode off in the night,

"It's not WHAT you ride, it's THAT you ride, and you know that I'm right!"

    Hillarious Shag!!!!!!!

Dude, that "something" is not suppose to be cold or sloppy.  Sounds like you keep coming around that something second or later in the party.  Party!!!

Noise , you are a sick man to ride in DC, I have spent this last week commuting between va beach and portsmouth and its sick, DC is 10x worse, u da man

I am staying @ the KSL, probably, sorry they crapped on Todd,

    BUT

The triangle core guys have never stayed there,  perception is everything, They have treated me and my friends like gold.  The only thing they require is open communication.  Dont make reservations and try to weezle around them, They cannot book it if you reserve it and if you dont show - they loose money - it is a business.  If you have the balls to be open and honest they will do anything to make you happy.   I have been open and honest and have not payed for days I did not stay, got discounts on rooms and had an experience everytime that can not be matched anywhere else.  It is what you make of it.  Everyone has a story about one thing or another, I think i have seen the illegles taking advantage of the campground and our people are getting the blame for the lame crap thats going on.

My Friends were riding back down the BRPW and burned out a stator just shy of Asheville and the only thing I could do was to say I can be there in 12 hours with their trailer.  I called Bobby @ the KSL and got my friend and his wife off I40, and a tow over to Wheelers in 30 minutes.  thats the same spirit that got Noise's bike off the side of the Dragon @ WF 1 - Its not where we stay but it is and how we act toward each other that makes it what it is.  I love you guys and Dwight signed my marriage license, Dog brings 100$ in firewood and Mo gets mad because Ohiomike is staying down the street and enjoying "her fire wood"  yes that's fud up (he has always spent 50x more then he ever consumed) and there are 16 other things just like it but there are perceptions vs reality, but, all it takes is a handshake and a smile to change the world.   If we pulled the stuff thats happened at previous WFesteses somewhere else, we would still be employing btm_fdr for years in filing injuctions

Its 100 times easier to smile then dig a shallow grave

I hope to see all the KSL vets at the KSL but if not, WTF, may not have seen you anyway, I will see someone new and still have a special experience that I can find nowhere else.  Randy and Sherri, I paid for your guest tax....you were on the books as staying with me (RTD4)

#1  They stuck out the tipjar for mikes BBQ @ WFI, - the tip jar is for more than just meals and they run so loosy goosy its up to interpretation, 95% of us give more than generously so when theres a "hinky" I dont blame anyone for getting a bad taste, when they have given then get treated like a dead beat,  90+ % of us get it and do not let it affect us.

Who went and got 200 hours of volunteering and got a metal detector to find a Ring ...Courtney!

the only thing you wold have got from the TWI is a goodbye

My Christmas/Solstist wish is to get back with my ol Drummer - Sangathor for WF5 and his new wife, for some smoky music sessions Wink

I'm glad it's worked out for you and I don't know if myself and Dwight and Jim count in the "Triangle core guys" statement but we've all stayed there.  If you consider us all friends then they have NOT treated ALL of your friends like gold.  We had one of their bunk houses late last year on the RTTD trip.  It wasn't horrible but it sure wasn't special.  Mo has a LOT to learn about customer service and just being nice and reasonable in general.  I didn't really wanna stay there the time I did but I figured I'd give the place a chance.  I did.  I won't stay there again.  That's all.  I can't think of a single thing about that place that was really cool except for the people staying there.  And when the person running the place acts like they don't even want my friends (and myself) to be there, I will (and am) extremely happy to accomodate that wish.  I won't let the gate hit me on the ass on the way out of there.

edit:  Oh, and when you say all you'll get from TWI is a goodbye, I'm assuming you have stayed there, right?  Like you said the "triangle core guys" had not stayed at KSL?  Or are you just making assumptions?  I've stayed at TWI a couple of times and Barry and Linda were really nice hosts and hung out with us a the bonfire and everything.  I won't comment about the kind of service you will get somewhere unless I've stayed there.  Seriously, have you ever stayed at TWI?   Consider not putting down a place unless you've been there and know what it's like.

    I knew that was comming,

    Love you Travis

Stepping on my *** the whole way....

Staying at the KSL is like , I dunno pull out the the wheel of fortune,  it can be the best or really piss poor , i knew you would infiltrate the one time i did not make it (should i take it personal).  sorry you had a bad time because we were not there....its been epic everytime for me

TWI people are great people, last time I talked to them Fred was still alive and there was partnering for the greater good of all camps, i am sure they are still great and I have sent them plenty of business even though i have neer stayed there (based on your first trip uo there with the warrior guys)

I will stay there rather than @ the IH in  some half ass crap tent
