I'm in on the house deal. If we get 30 riders its only about 100bux each for a week long stay.

I got first dibs on a couch to rack out on.

    TheOhioMike:

I say rent the houses. Some people who don't have the money upfront can always camp there too. There is so much property and things todoI think it would be a blast.. I can see it now a midnight drive through at the kickstand 100 bikes strong..

    Baffle less ofcourse. Wink

I agree.  Three houses  =  30 people plus room for some tenters.

I am in for a bed in one of the houses. It works out well cheaper than any of the other options and is closer to the action than the Punkin center.

For people who want to camp they could setup at the houses as well right??

We could potentially get the whole crew in there.

Man, I'd like to hear the stories that led to being banned from the Kickstand. Last time I was there I stayed at the Ironhorse which is a little out of the way, but really offers something for everyone. They have camping, a large bunkhouse, rooms with private bath & showers and cabins. They have a main house where they serve food, show movies and have a pool table, darts, etc and they have a large fire pit. I thought the hospitality was first rate. I'll be there. But contemplating going back to work as a pilot for Korean Airlines. Got a week long job interview the last week in July. If it works out, could be a no go for the first time in all the Warrior Fests.

I was at WF4 with Ohiomike when we drove to the KSL everynight the last night we went down after jamming some tunes in his truck the night before (with the windows up for the most part too) we were told to park in a different spot( over by the big shelter area on other side of property) and Im sure to leave the jams off.  I think it started then because we were not staying there and she knew it and was not happy.  I have been to the houses and they are nice and I think it would be cheaper too the Tuskeegee is about 300 plus for the week so even if we get 10 thats 310 each 15 is only 200 210 each for the week (250 each x 15 is 3750 which would cover the tax too) I think this is the best deal of all in my opinion I looked for other places to stay last year and this would by far be cheaper if we go together.  By my count looks like we already have 6 or 7 that are willing to do it.

I am still working on the boss to get that time off. If I can beg correctly I will be there for my 1st time. I am undecided, pop up camper or tent???  Hmm

Deciding factor will be if I can get my bike in the back of my truck without the tailgate down. I can not pull the camper with the tailgate down.Angry Just need to get my lazy @ss out and measure the bike. The pick up bed is only 6'. Ofcourse I could cheat and ask here I guess.

I'd prefer to spend an extra $100 for my week stay wherever we wind up and be somewhere nice.  Bring your lunch to work for a few weeks instead of going out to eat and you'll save up $100 in no time.  My vote so far is for 2-Wheel-Inn and my second choice is the house rental (from the options I've heard so far).  Tuskeegee was great but I'm just afraid they won't have enough room for everyone and they really don't have a good place for everyone to hang out at night (unless you like hanging out in a parking lot).  I'm glad to see everyone talking about it this early so that we can come up with a good compromise for everyone.  This meeting is still so far away that I might even be riding a Warrior again by the time it rolls around.  Stick out tongue

I like the 2wheel Inn idea because it's closer. My concern is how tolerant will they be? If we can get 25 or 30 folks in there it might get a little rowdy. If we rented the houses there wouldn't be anyone around to complain. My vote would be rental property and then 2 wheel inn.

Jeff?  You like to camp!  The house would not be a good solution for you!!!  You could pitch your tent out on the Cherohala around Hooper Bald.  Real nice out there.
