If we wait till later in the month there are more groups that show up. That also means more LEO's. This year we had almost no trafffic at the gap from Saturday till wed. And hardly any law. 1 day was a rainout (Sun). The week after was alot of rain and heavy traffic, this year it's rained almost everyday since WF4.

Also the guys from the VMAX site are planning on joining us next year. Frankenstien will be coming out with the Cali boys too. We have been discussing it at StarVmax.com

Plus 1000 on that.  I like the week earlier for less dense traffic (less LEO's) and even slightly cooler wx.  Most all the roads in the area besides the Dragon seem to be rideable just about anytime in April and May.  The Dragon has that short window of opportunity in late April for better chances of riding the road and actually being able to enjoy it during the past WF's tried and true time slot, which was arrived at with the knowledge and experience of the locals.

Must be some reason the only pro photographers I have seen in the area, station themselves on the Dragon.

We have so many more roads to show the Cali boys than just the Dragon!!!! Maybe they will be the ones to realize I have been wrongly labeled as a perv!!!!!

IT is good as long as we dont need studded tires

the earlier thw better, but it cam come with a price,,, its a crap shoot either way

The Star VMax guys are planning 16-23 April 2010 for their visit. If I can go, that's when I will be going. Like to avoid the end of the month crowds.

I would definately like to be there when the California group/VMaxers are there too.  Maybe Yamaha corporate could come back and film for the week again. 

Im in. Ill go with the later dates. We all talked about moving it back this year, so lets do it.

I will go with the rest of you on the date and would really like to met up with the Cali guys but I would like to see it set (w/ Cali or without) and that be that.

 I will attend whatever dates we decide to make it, but agree that we should try later dates (25-30th) instead  of earlier. I remember hearing for last couple of years that just a week or 2 before WF it had snowed in that area! And with later dates there is a better chance to get some more people to come from Chicago (it's about time some other of many Chicago Warriors attend WF!)
