I called Best Buy and they said that part # didn't come up. Sorry I'm new to relays and what they do but the concept behind this DIY is very simple after looking at it. If I were to go to a Vehicle parts store what should I ask for? They have relays for almost everything with 5 prongs but no wires im told. Did your relays come with the 5 wires already attached I assume? If you could help me in any way I would be happy. Thanks

Go to any good electronics store and they should be able to fix you up with everything you need.  I'm not talking about a Radio Shack. I mean an actual electronics outfit.

The Lesbians living next door gave me a Timex. I think they misunderstood when I said " I wanna watch. "

I just bought 5 relays off of ebay for like 15 bucks. I only 2, I'll sell you the other two for 3 bucks each plus shipping. PM me. These are removal pig tail relays not just a wired one...you can mount your relays and then disconnect the pigtails from them...makes removal an easier operation.

Has anyone else done this mod? I have the relays but I am a little skeptical about cutting open the tail light and just gluing it back together. What is a good glue that will hold and seal the tail light to keep water out?

Gran- Can you tell me which color wire goes to what pin #. I Know the 30 goes to the ground. My relay is a bit different and it would be much easier if i knew what wires went to what number.

Sorry the 30 is 12V. I tried moving a few around and can't seem to figure it out. Also by doing this mod, is there running lights? From your picture it shows that your running lights don't work. Any help would be great. Thanks

Did the mod and love it. One Question: My blinkers are red not yellow?? Any idea?

Thank you for the great pics and instructions. I will use plastic weld and silicone both.

    • All Warrior OEM taillights are Red LED's because they are on constantly as RUNNING LIGHTS so sleep tight

Here you go. Notice on my ride the rear T/S are also Running Lights and are Red by Law

Cool mod.  When I saw yours I had to come up with a way to make my own and have amber blinkers.http://rswarrior.com/forums/p/134114/1050765.aspx#1050765  No one was interested so i dropped it.  I may try it some time but probabaly will just buy a mdwright integrater.

    Re: DIY Integrated Tail Light

For anyone looking to do this your local parts guy should have a horn relay for a 1995 Ford Thunderbird. The part # should be R3177 all for about $5.95 each.  they are the small ones the only difference is that they do not have the pig tail connector, but some female connectors work just as well. And on mine I just cut the mounting tabs off to save some space.  L8er

I thinking about doing this mod, but i have a few questions. do you loose your runing lights all together? do you loose your running lights only when turn signals are on? like the above pic. how does it blink? from off to bright  or  dim to bright  or  off to dim. i know im asking a lot of questions but i want to make sure im happy with the end results.

    Thanks
