    Spark Plugs reading

Took them out right after riding. How do they look? Definitely not rich I guess.

So how is the fuel mixture? Looks like it is correct, isn't it?

May I ask about how many miles are on the plugs?

Yes, you may. They are about to be changed according to manual.

And the manual says..... where is my manual? Ah, yes - 8000 miles (13000km). The bike is very close to it. May be next ride I'll hit 8000 miles.

    Why do you ask?

Allright, allright I got it! Stick out tongue

Right now I use on of the member's map. It's for Stock Air filters, V&H BigShots and AIS Block-off. The AIS on my bike is not blocked, but the mixture looks pretty correct. Thanks Iskinzo.

I've been traveling, sorry for the delay.  One time another buddy asked me that same question, and it turned out later that he had just installed the new plugs and they looked like that after just a few miles (he was running just a little bit rich).  However with 8k miles on those plugs I agree they are looking good!

    Re: Spark Plugs reading

It's me again with my plugs.

Installed a Churchkey V-BAK, blocked AIS, installed new spark plugs, uploaded a new map into PCIII, took a good ride (V-BAK works! Bike awoke!), took spark plugs out and took some pics. Looks like I'm running a bit lean, isn't it? Front and rear cylinder look almost identical. Can't remember which is the one...

Should I add a few PCIII fuel strips? Cause that's what I'm going to do.

So you like the VBAK?  I can't stand waiting for mine to arrive from Woody.  I''m expecting mine at the end of next week or so.

Are you working in an Ove Glove?  If not, that picture just gave me a great idea for hot parts...

Do you happen to have a copy of the map you're running that you could send me?  I'd be incredibly grateful.

Agreed.  The ceramic center of the plugs are white now... you want them to look a brown/cream/tan color... identical to the pics you posted the 1st time.

From the first ride - Yes. There IS a difference in performance and it adds some nice gargling sounds from under the gas tank Smile
