This is the US Open weekend so I am glued to the TV from now till Sunday at 7:00 PM. Its at Bethpage Black in NYC, which was the last course I played before I had elbow surgery. I shot 89, interested to see how the pros do this weekend.

Watching golf is kinda of like watching paint dry to me. LOL  The few times I have played, I got my moneys worth because I saw the whole course (including a few yards) and only paid about .25 for each shot.  My scores are just below the top speed of a warrior.

Anyone else up for a ride in the group?

I know the voices aren't real, but they do have some good ideas.

I want to die while asleep like my grandfather, not screaming in terror like the passengers in his car.

Chris, give me a call Saturday.  I'm going riding one way or another.  Got to check out my new pipe and service on the bike.

Anyone riding in the oven this Sunday?  Only going to be 98, and I hate to bake alone.  Wife is interested in riding along, so we might have to play niceSmile if we can get a group together.  Might even wash off the mud from our rain ride if Mark is going along.SurpriseSurprise  Hate for him to have his OCD attack and have to wash her bike himself.

Getting ready to check out the mapping on my PC-V with fuel moto.  If we can get it right, I'll be riding today.  If not, I'll just put it back to normal (unhook it) and should be good to go.  Only takes about 5 minutes to hook up.  I'll let you know in an hour or so.

Could be up for a ride on Sunday. I would go tomorrow, but it being the 4th, the peachtree road race, fireworks, etc. it will not be easy to get around town and their will be a ton of cops out this weekend looking for DUI's, but they may catch some speedy warriors by mistake.

I just checked the weather and it looks like thunderstorms all day Sunday. I guess I will try to get out tomorrow for a while, picnic does not start until 7:00 PM.

Rain, did you say rain, who's afraid of a little rainSurprise besides my wife.  I went for a short ride today after I unhooked my PC-V.  With the pipe change, bike is running strong, but there are some flat spots in the lower rpm range.  Might try to just wait and take it to the duc shop for a proper mapping if needed. We have a parade down in PTC and it screws up all the traffic until you get clear of it.

Do you have baffles in your pipes? The Duc Shop would not tune my bike because I have straight pipes. Turns out their neighbor business were complaining about the noise. K-otic has a dyno and will tune your bike for much less than the Duc Shop. You will need to make an appointment with them cause the Dyno guy only comes in when there are bikes to be tuned.

Yea, I have baffles in my speedstar pipe (can't remove them).  But all I can say is that they are LOUD when you play.  Biggest issue with the PC-V is that the bike will not start clean and idle.  Bike wants to idle at 500 and sounds/smells like it is way rich.  May have speedstar IV map instead of speedstar pipe and VBAK. I can get another map for the PC-V if that is the issue.   I've unhooked everything and will rehook it up again tomorrow as it takes about 5 minutes total.  Just 4 plugs for the entire setup and will recheck to make sure everything is plugged in good and correctly. Getting ready to go for a short ride with the wife while the weather is nice.

Mark, just found the issue on my PC-V (pins came out of injector connection) so looks like I will get to save the $$$ for a custom map.  Bike is running really good and strong now without flat spots.  If the weather permits, we should all try to get together for another ride.  Wife will go if we get some more women riders/passengers in the group.  She did say that if Eric was going, she would be staying home as she wasn't riding with that crazy SOB again.  If she only knew how we rode when she wasn't around.  Wink
