Nice riding with you today Chris.  Hopefully, your wife was not too mad about you getting back late for her tat.  Let me know how the video you shot today turns out.  Might be fun watching us chase a sporty in the twisties.  I'm also wanting to see the GHP patrol bike that we passed going "a little" over the speed limit Devil in the opposite direction on the mountain. We will have to get the group together and do that run again sometime.

Definitely Man - Good Times! My Arms are SCORCHED but it was a good time. Wife wasn't pissed she just needed me there to watch my son while she got her tattoo. All went well! I'll work on the video this week, took a brief look and it's a little shaky. I will use the helmet mount next time.

I rode all day Saturday and my arms are beet red! Spent 3 hours tonight cleaning her off, man she is so clean you could eat off her. Chris, what tattoo did your wife get and where did she put it?

She got Eric, Mark, and Gary put on her...but we can't tell you where and those pics are not allowed on this site anyway. LOL  I'd be interested in hearing about her tats also.  I know that Chris got called several times to be reminded that he was supposed to be either home or heading that way quick.

Mark, wife's bike still has Woodstock mud on it, when can we drop off the bikes to be detailed?  I'm sure that if I rode her's up there, you wouldn't even let it on the driveway due to the mud streak it would leave on your driveway when water hit it.Embarrassed  Mine is a little cleaner, but I like to leave dirt on the engine to keep the radar profile low.  Big Smile

I know people at quite a few shops but she wanted a chic to tattoo her so I took her to Colette at Holy Mother in Lil 5. She has a butterfly over her back left hip and she got my Son's initials on the back of her neck up near her hair line so you only see it if she shows it.

I'll be out of town from this Sat to the following Sat.  Going to Myrtle Beach...wish me luck Eric.  Just kidding, going to a family reunion with a fully loaded car and truck .  Sounds like the new pup is doing good (or at least I hope so).  You will have to send me some pics when she gets older for the neighbors.  I'm glad that you have a big trim job and it is taking up a lot of your time.  Waiting for the phone to ring sucks big time.  Stay safe and we will have to plan a weekend ride sometime this summer.

     Eric,

I just got my speestar exhaust in.  Any helpful suggestions on the install.  Also, what size bolts does it take for the frame mounting.

I think Yamaha put on Eric's Speedstar when he bought it... but I may be wrong.

Good video.  I see what you are talking about with the waves.  I think that it might just be air moving over the camera too fast Wink.  Maybe next time I can try mine without the windscreen and see what happens.

Chris, I watched the video again and I don't know if it is vibration coming off the bars from higher rpm or wind buffetting.  The first part of the video is pretty smooth to about 60 mph or so.  It looks like when we turned it up to "play" with the sporty, the video camera is being buffetted by the wind.    I'll see what I can find to help with the mounting system and see if I can test out my camera when I come back from the beach and have the speedstar pipe installed.  Maybe the clip system is movign slightly and we can put something else on it.  For anyone who has watched the video, the camera and mount are $49 at Sams (and is waterproof).

Anyone thinking about a ride this father's day weekend?  Wife is heading out of town and just looking for someone to ride with.
