Got out with a couple of buddies yesterday and had a great ride. We road 101 from Wayzata down to Chanhassen, Took a few back roads and wound up in Carver. Did the run down to Le Sueur on 40. Stopped for lunch at Hog Wild in Henderson...killer burgers by the way. It was like mini Sturgis. Bikes were parked up and down the street. If you haven't done that ride, highly recommend it. Yes

What sold was a 2004 decked out low miles Road Star 1700 that a friend had to sell. The trip was good. Only got wet once, 2 days were cold. our last day never got above 40. Was snowing on the Blue Ridge Highway, Tail of the Dragon was not to busy, had more fun on the back road twisteys, Graceland was cool, Muscle Shoals and Branson were ok. Polaris gave Justin a Victory Vision to take along. May take some getting used to in the looks department but it grows on you. Got alot of attention were ever we went. It is a class act when it comes to technology, handling and comfort. Have both bikes put to bed for the winter. Wondering if I did it to soon with this weather. Cool

That sounds like an awesome trip!  It is a break I am sure you needed.  I would like to get East, never been that way.

I still have both my bikes out.  The battery is getting pretty weak on the Warrior, though.  I have been carrying jumper cables with me now when I ride it!  The trip meters and clock often reset when I start it.  I'll have to put a new battery in the spring budget.  40,000 miles, and 7 years on a bike battery is pretty good I think.

Thanks Steve, Same to you & everyone. Sounds like a great trip, I rode the Vision last year at the Polaris demo days, & really liked the way it rode & the features it has, I would really consider one if some time down the road. Hope everyone is doing well this holiday season. already looking forward to next riding season. Mike

Am I the only fool still out riding? Got in about 150 miles this weekend. Bundled up and it was actually very nice. Saw a couple of Harley's, a Stratoliner, and a Spyder. Unfortunately, I think this may have been the last ride for the year....unless it warms up next week again.

I've still been riding.  Might be heading to the metro Tuesday on the Warrior.

Yep I jumped the gun a bit and put her away in early October. That first snow got me scared and i didn't want to have to ride 60 miles to put her down in sub 30's again like last year. Hopefully next spring comes early and we can actually enjoy it. Hope everyone is well and enjoyed the long weekend.

OK... that oughta just about do it.  Time to put it up on the lift for winter maintenance and clean-up.  This is the latest I've ever ridden into the winter anyway, so I guess it's about time.  Now all of you snowmobilers can have the road!

    See you all next spring!!
