Response to one of the several items I have for sale on craigslist:

would you be interested in a trade

 Yes, that was the entire response.  So I responded:

 You didn't say what you wanted to trade.  OK, I'll trade you my bike for $7700.
I have multiple things for sale on craigslist.  When you say "would you be interested in a trade" I have no idea what you're talking about.  Do you want to trade me a few gold bricks for the tires I have for sale?  Do you want to trade me a car for the bike I have for sale?  I have a feeling this is going nowhere.  I'll make it more simple for both of us.  NO, I don't want to trade anything with you.

Was that wrong of me?  Wait... don't answer.  No, it wasn't wrong of me.  I hate people in general and Mr Would You Be Interested In A Trade is one of the reasons why.  People....  get your heads out of your @sses.  Sorry, just tired of dealing with retarded people on craigslist.  Oh, wait...  that retarded thing offended someone before.  Oh well.  I'll try to sleep tonight after someone whines about the retarded thing again.

I just ignore the one line vauge responses that don't look meaningful because more often then not they are just an attempt to get a verified email address to send spam to.  If you ever DO get one though that seems real but doesn't specify which ad they are replying to you can always look at the Craigslist ad # that's automatically put in it and match it to your ads that way. 

The ones that bug me the most are the simple "still got it?" emails.  The whole thing....  "still got it?"  It's especially annoying when it's an ad that was just placed minutes before but they didn't bother to notice.  I want to reply "No, sorry.  It sold a few weeks ago but I got in such a habbit of placing the ad for it that I just couldn't help myself."

I put my Malibu on there a while back in Michigan.... some guy wanted to trade a 92 RS camaro T-top.  We exchanged pics and info.  The camaro was in AMAZING condition.  My car needs body work/paint but worth more so we agreed a straight up trade.  He couldn't have been more excited even stating "if it has a back seat and runs, I'm in."  Well the day came to check each other cars out, seeing that I'm in Wyoming, he was gonna drive his car to my dads place (that's were the malibu was).  Well he never showed, never called... nothing. My dad wasted his whole day waiting for him. I called him and left a message and emailed him saying if he doesn't respond I'm done with him and chewed his #ss for wasting my dad's whole day.

Maybe but you can bet that it didn't offend any retards, go ahead and ask one. (if that didn't take the heat off of you for the comment, nothing will)

A guy asked me a few days ago if he could come take a look at my Warrior I'm selling Sunday evening because he's very interested so I told him I'd make sure I'm home.  No call, no nothing.  That's why when I had a nice TV and other stuff recently that I didn't need I didn't bother trying to sell them on Craigslist.  I always get some Indian dude that I can't hardly understand wanting to offer me less then half what I told him it would be because he thinks since he's here in my house with "cash!" (all $20 bucks or whatever) that I'm going to get all ga ga and take it.  Previously I had just politely declined and asked them to leave but the last time that happened I went off on the guy and kicked him out like the bum he was.  Now I just throw whatever it is in the dumpster or donate it when possible.

i have sold alot of stuff on craigslist and almost always people try to low ball me with cash when they are looking at whatever i sell. it used to bother me but not so much anymore , i just tell them no and that's it.

also i have to admit i have done the same thing but only if whatever i am looking at is not as good as it was described or the pic looked alot better then in real life.

if you want to sell stuf you're gonna have to put up with stuff like that.

lol  I'll consider that.  I have a plasma HDTV that I don't really have a need for and it didn't work out so great as a computer monitor so I was thinking about adding it to my cars for sale ad to help generate interest.  How cheesey is that?  lol  "Free plasma big screen with every car purchase!".  The market is ridiculous here it seems.  It's as if nobodys ever even considered buying a used car before.  All these silicon valley tech people are riding around in $70K cars and living with their parents and their spouses family in a 2 bedroom apartment they pay $4,000/mo. for.  It's crazy I tell ya!
