Do these just bolt into place or is there any modification that needs to be done?

Should bolt right up, only thing you need is a spacer due to the cylinder offset, off the top of my head I recal 1/2" to 5/8" spacer with a 6mm hole, unless of course the fabricator includes this with his plate?

it bolts on to the original two top filter bolts and the bottom bracket to the filter it dosent need spacers but is not a bad idea if you dont want to scratch the motor surface you could use a plain washer.

Do you have any other designs for the full cover?  The ones you have posted look cool but I would like something a little different. Maybe slots to match the engine cooling fins. Or holes in a pattern.

I'd get alum. unpolished.

i do have some new ones coming up but the will be high priced because they will be neckle plated crome light steel.
