I have a pair of Oakley Monster Dog with the Transition lenses. They give me pretty decent protection and the lenses lighten up enough for low light situations.

I wear a fullface but typically ride with the shield up under 60mph or so, so I always wear glasses as well. Smiths/ maverics for sunglasses. They are polarized and make a bit of a rainbow reflection off of my face shield or windscreens. Anyone else notice this? I also wear just plain safety glasses in low light conditions. But I don't have much of an issue with my eyes tearing up so it dosen't matter what I wear.

I had a good sized rock ricochet off my face shield at 70mph on the highway this summer, makes you think about keeping the shield down more often.

 i've been on the cheap with my biennially-issued military birth contol glasses. they're durable enough to use with a full face, and are considered shatterproof when i don the half helmet
