Where can I find/buy the Kuryakyn Pro-R Hyper Charger for my warrior?!

I cant find the pro-R model which is compatible with the warrior. I love the extra side slit to let in more air, it looks sick. I can only find it for the road star 1600 not for the warrior. Will this one work do I need an adapter piece? Could I buy the kuryakyn pro-seriesand change out the face plate? Please help, Im looking to purchase a hypercharger asap. Or if you have any other suggestions im open for ideas... Thanks!

if you are looking at getting one for the looks, great. But if you think that "extra side slit" is actually going to let in more air, you are mistaken. Save your money and get a Churchkey VBAK.

Unfortunatly the Hypercharger will give you no more power than you already have but they do look cool.  The parts that you are looking for is the Kuryakyn pro hypercharger part # 600199 for approx. $229.95 and the hypercharger adapter part # 40404B for approx $114.95.  This adapter is listed as only working with the pro but it may also fit the pro-r.  These are both available from Thunder Mfg. as they are the ones who make the only adapter that I could find for the Warrior.  I myself have this same setup on my bike now but I know that it is only for the styling and will be adding Churckeys v-bak kit shortly for the power gains that it gives.  Hope this helps to get you started in the right direction.

I don't think this fits the Warrior at all does it?  I bet the stock 2-filter airbox sucks more air than this does.

The one you show there is the "Pro-R Hypercharger" and I am not sure if that one will fit but I do know that the "Pro Hypercharger" will work with the Thunder Mfg. adapter and fits grat on the Warrior.

When you search the Kuryakyn website you will not find one to fit the warrior because they only show what they have availible in kit form (both the hypercharger and the adapter for the bike listed) and they do not make an adapter for the warrior.

Here is the link for the adapter

And the link for the "Pro Hypercharger"

Cool, this one comes up under Warrior too (for a different intake obviously):

hypercharger is just for looks on a warrior. now i do think on a single carb set up it works. where it puts air right in the carb. had one on a vulcan........ speedster scoop looks better.

tearing it up for 4 months . and fixing it in 8 months

Yes that adapter is for all of their other intake kits including the very cool thunder intake.

From my understanding the reason for Kuryakyn not making an adapter is because there is no performance gain with hypercharges on the Warrior like there is on othe bikes.  Their performance gain claims would not be valid for the Warrior.

The Kuryakyn part # for the Pro-R Hypercharger only is 600204.  I could not find a price for the hypercharger alone but if you give them a call I am sure that they could give you a price.

It does apear as though both the Pro and the Pro-R have the same mounting pattern so it should work just fine with the Thunder Mfg. adapter.

Re: Where can I find/buy the Kuryakyn Pro-R Hyper Charger for my warrior?!

When I put the Pro-R Hypercharger on my dual carbed V-Star 1100 Custom, I experienced HUGE gains in HP and torque. It doesn't work that way for fuel injected bikes, apparently. It's a shame, because it looks badass when the bikes running and those butterflies are moving with the rumble.

It looks great anyway. I've been thinking about adding one to my Warrior, too. I wonder if there's a way to run hose or s/s pipe to it, so it does what it's supposed to? It would be a shame if those butterflies didn't move when the bike is running.

I think it looks way cooler than the S* air filter!

The hypercharger does hook up to you engine vacum lines under the tank and the butterflys do work as you work the throttle.

On a side note I found this on the Thunder Mfg. site but I am not sure if I belive this.  I have not been able to notice any real hp. gains.

I had one on my warrior when I bought it, the butterflies were pretty cool but I replaced mine as soon as I could due to comfort, the back corner of the hypercharger bruised my shin just below my kneecap everytime I rode it because it sticks way too far off the motor, I replaced it with a PR BAK and couldn't be happier. Here's a pic of when I still had it
