    Hey Bob,

I talked to my brother and we could not find the number for that guy who had the used Yamaha shield for sale, BUT the good news is he is usually at Chris and Robs in Fridely on the last Thursday of the month.  I plan on going, so if I run into him I will get him in contact with you.

Remember that government spends money only by taking that money out of the private economy. Put another way, when government taxes a dollar to “create” a job, it has taken a dollar out of the private economy that is no longer available to the private economy.

    Re: What windsheild?

I've tried a few and keep coming back to the Yamaha Boulevard windshield.  I'm 6'0" 34" inseam and the shield removes all the air from my chest.  The air hits my helmet about my forehead.  I have TT's also (see my gallery) but I also have the Mustang seat which moves me about an inch forward.  On a stock seat maybe the air would miss my helmet altogether I don't know.  The Blvd looks small enough but gives big protection.  I make a couple 1,200+ miles rides every year averaging 400+ miles a day.  Some rain even.  No problems.  Its well made and well engineered.

I just won two on ebay and here is what the previous owner had to say.............................

PACKAGE  DEAL !!!                                                                                                                                                                                         these are a factory yamaha boulevard sheild with a lite tint and a clearview warrior GT large  21" (item # YAM-RWOL at clearview )they both use the buolevard mounts which are included on the clearview. both in excellent cond. no marks worth mentioning, the clearview is new style  with the lower wings and top lip just bought in april 08. tryed both these sheilds and found i prefer ridin naked and eatin bugs. im 6'-2" and found some slite buffuting with clearview. boulevard more steady wind.just laying around mite as well get what i can for them. cannot seperate both use same mounts.

I too have the Boulevard Windshield on my bike. Like Arizonawarrior said, it helps to take the pressure off of the chest and is a big help on long trips. I think it is the best looking windshild for a warrior.

Memphis Shades Slim.  Not quite as good looking as the yammi, but  a little more protecdtion.  No buffeting with the dual tour, but I do get some with the stock slab of sht that Yamaha calls a seat.    6 foot with a 33 inch inseam.

No never mind-its butt ugly in this pic, not quite as bad in real life.  I don't care what my bike looks like when I am on long trips, so it works good for me.

Forgiveness is between them and god....it's my job to arrange the meeting.

It matches the other ball milled accessories they have....has lines cut in the chrome. The chrome bracket that holds the shield on probably has 3-4 groves cut in it. I am considering one of these too...but I'd go with a smooth finish.

    Re: What windsheild?

yes i 'm trying to get my hands on the 'smooth' one as well - phoned local yami man to see if he can get it and price!? [holdsbreath] in uk - thanks again for posting the info, it's just so great to be able to see stuff and get the ruddy part nos - i liked the look of the Givi A755 and would have gone that route, but fitting seems to be not that stamdard and unfitting when needed even less - so the Boulevard it is [hopefully] - regards tom ba
