    CruiseMissile:

Memories right there. I grew up in Sac and Citrus Heights then Grass Valley. Used to ride across the dam and up into the hills thru Salmon falls (did a lot of 4 wheeling there too). Back then, in the late 70's early 80's my buds and me would rip up the canyons and mtn. rds back when they had zero traffic. Couldn't believe the growth since 1991 that I saw a few years ago.

Out towards Nevada City and Downieville has some great rides too. But you guys already know that I'm sure.  I miss riding out there. Have you guys gone up to the Redwoods and riddin the coast? Friggin awesome riding thru the old forest.

I'd love to come out that way and ride again sometime. Maybe next season.

Yea, a few more cars to dodge nowadays, but still some awesome stuff. They actually closed the Folsom Dam rd. to traffic (terrorist ya know).

I'll bet you"ve got some nice stuff in NC, never been there yet, but get me anywhere near the ocean and I'm a happy man. Love to have ya if you ever decide to come out west.Yes

Great to meet you all as well, I had a blast.  How did the rest of the ride turn out after Mike and myself headed home?

BTW, NorCalWarrior is Brennan, not Justin.  I thought I heard you say Justin once yesterday but figured it was just the altitude, or maybe all exhaust fumes I was eatin' because you guys were screaming through those twisties! - at least compared to me Big Smile

I'm camping Sunday the 24th so no garage day for me,

ha, I'm usually more than happy to sit in traffic so long as it's moving but when it's stopped like that I'll usually split lanes, doesn't help that 50 gets pretty narrow through Placerville.  I've got those pointy stilletto ends on my bars and thought once or twice I was going to have to hand out some insurance info, but it was a little hairy.

I am in the Navy and currently stationed in Hawaii, but next year I will be discharged.  I am originally from Chico, Ca and thats where I'm headed back to.  When I'm back in Nor-Cal I will deffinetly be down for a ride.
