    DIY mods

Finally I got some mods done on this thing....this is def only the beginning.

DIY VBAK- I used the stock stacks that can be removed from the inside of the airbox with a box knife, K&N 1290s and spectre breathers as well as some odds and ends hoses and bolts.  This project would have taken 2x as long, but I live withing a mile of lowes and advanced auto.  I also fabbed up a plate for the coils and sensors, but forgot to get a pic.

Relocated FPR- Thanks Alan H for the great posts about this mod...I routed the 5/16" fuel injection line looped underneath the throttle cables on the tb.  I did reuse the plastic 90 degree fittings

DIY AIS blockoff and left side cleanup.  I plan on finding a stainless drybreak and lines to spruce up this side.

DIY Diamond plate frame inserts painted black to match frame.

All cleaned up with breathers exiting at the rear of tank.  I plan on  making some sort of maltese cross or spade cover out of diamond plate to hide the wires.  I also put the adj. Ram396 kit on with eibach 1000lb spring.  Great with two up riding.

Its looking good.  Nice work with the stacks.  Did you add a filter to the end of the crankcase vent line too?

thanks....the two filters on the side by the tank are from the crankcase vent and the lcv module...those are the only breathers i put on

YOU NEED TO USE FI CLAMPS ON THE FPR LINE UNLESS YOU WANT TO SEE YOUR BIKE BECOME A BALL OF FIRE.  Those spring clamps you put on there will eventually blow off.  The FPR runs quite a bit of pressure. Just a heads up!!!!!

thanks for the heads up...i did use fuel injection line so the line shouldnt bulge....are you saying that the fuel will blow those 90 degree quick disconnects right off with the clamps on?  I find this hard to believe, but i do plan on putting some fi clamps on to be safe.  has this actually happened to anyone....

AlanH is the one who told me to use the FI clamps on the FPR line, I pretty much take his advice as law.  The clamps are cheap and I wouldn't want to find out the hard way.

Good going. She looks fit and trim. This will be my next project once I save up enough for a PCIII. It could take a while since I am the second poorest Warrior Owner. I hear the poorest lives in Watagua TX.

I'm not trying to contradict anyone here but this is the same clamp that's OE on my R1 fuel line.Huh?

What's the sport bike behind the Warrior?

the sport bike behind behind the warrior is my fiancees 08 250 ninja.  we just picked it up about a month ago and she is doing really good so far.  she took the safety course and got her license.  I think i was just as excited about her getting a bike as she was.
