Anybody know what a 2008 puts down for power? and how about after a pc, intake, and exhaust?

I've seen stock HP numbers of 76. After the mods it can vary depending upon which exhaust and which Air Kit, but I have seen numbers generally between 80 to 85 HP maybe more with a custom map.

Everything I've seen says the same thing as:

"Using Yamaha's figures, the Warrior makes 79.9 horsepower at 4,400 RPM and 103.8 pounds feet of torque at 3,500 RPM at the rear wheel on a Dynojet Model 200 dyno."

But you can search and find lots of similar numbers even to 2008.

Well after the hard krome pipes, the patrick big air kit, and a pc3, i only put down 78 HP and 100 FT LBS TQ. Does that sound right? And that is tuned on the dyno.

Sounds a bit low. Not all HK pipes produce hp though, which kind do you have?

More importantly though is, how does it feel compared to before?

Before starting with any mod, I baselined mine recently, also on a Dynojet dyno.

Apart from the Jardine Megaphone, everything was stock.

Result:

• Max power: 76.6 hp @ 4,500 rpm.
• Max torque: 107.8 ft-lbs @ 3,200 rpm

And yeah, I almost forgot: This after 38,000 km (23,600 miles).

After these findings, engine related mods performing below these values won’t be accepted.

Dyno's are like a bathroom scale,everybodys got one and no two will read the same. It's just a tool.....If I had a dyno I think I would like my to read in apples or oranges...six and 1/2 apples  on a stock base line.  seven after ais blockoff and big air kit with bumping up the fuel trim 3 points. seven  1/2 apples after V&H pro pipe and two more units of fuel trim...... took the baffle out and lost a full apple back down to 6 1/2 apples sooooo back in goes the baffel and back up to a full 7 1/2...........All the race teams will tell you....You don't race dyno's and you can't ride them either.  Now if you want to make your wife happy,try setting your bathroon scale back about 5 or 10 lbs. without her knowing it.....  see my point?

HK's suck power. Not sure why but mine gets lower than stock. They still look ok to me and the bike runs fine so I am happy

that is the best explanation of dyno comparison i have heard.

i had mine on two dynos: first one read 66 hp  the next 78
