Hey All,

So there has been a lot of talk about changing the weekend of the Tahoe Run to a non-Street Vibes weekend.  Are we all willing to give that a try this year?  Last year we had to ride threw snow, ice, rain and sleet to get home and it was rough.  How about we make it 2 weeks earlier this year and shoot for Sept 12-14.  This is all open for discussion.  Please post your thoughts.

 Here's my idea.

Take off on Thursday the 11th or Friday the 12th and head to Mammoth.  I would like to spend Friday riding around Mammoth if we leave Thursday.

Saturday We head to Tahoe and find some good roads, ride around the lake, Mt Rose, Truckee, Wentworth Springs, whatever we want.

Sunday we come home.

 I would definately be up for changing the weekend. The advantages would be great since we don't really go to Street Vibes anyway.  We usually make our own party where ever (and when ever) we go!!

Can't make it this year  so I hope you separate it from SV next year!

Definitely, am not into big crowds anyways

Maybe we can even make it a five day? Rent a boat, maybe a cabin?

I am more inclined to this idea instead of going to SV. That weekend looks good to me for now.

We've got a cabin but only sleeps so many.  Scooter has a cabin too.  We rode through Truckee last weekend and the river rafting looked cool.  Must have been a couple hundred rafts in there floatin down the truckee.  Bikinis were everywhere. 

The week before or after would work best for me.  9-4 to 9-7 or 9-18 to 9-21.  Week before would be better, more time away from SV.

I was hoping you guy's would plan this ride again but I won't be able to make it that weekend, have to go to a wedding in Vegas.

Would love to go,like the Idea of runnin around mammoth and missing SV weekend. Depends on my son's football schedule,will stay tuned.

Hopefully you can make it Jim!  I love this trip since I get to see everyone from So Cal and other places... Shout out to Chris and crew in Vegas!  WAAAAAZZZUP!?!  And I'm totally cool with with the weekend change.  In fact, it's better since I will be working this year on SV weekend!!  So I guess that means that I'M IN!!  (hopefully that doesn't make others back out... haha!) 

Shawna is very excited to have a new helmet that fits her and has pink butterfly wings on it.  She is trying to get the weekend so she can come too...

I have a helmet with butterflies all over it too - thousands of them!  And a jacket, pants and a bike too.  In fact, I even have a bird on them too.

I didn't realize that's the way you roll... cute.

I think you, my dad and Jim have the same outfit.  I think you have a pic to post, right?

Two weeks earlier sound good to me! The weekend of Street Vibrations is also when all of the kids return to our dorms at UCLA and is a busy time so anytime before or after is a good thing. Let me know if these dates are confirmed so I can put in my vacation request.
