I have the Barons extension set and its just not enough. Ive been contemplating the 3" or 5" and have still not made up my mind. The ones on Ebay just look flimsy from the small pictures. If you do get them please post a review.

I bought the ebay ones a couple of years ago and they are perfect for me. I'm 6'2" and they are just right. I had to go buy different bolts at the hardware store; I can't really remember why now (I'm getting old!)

Yep, Buy mine Big Smile. They are boxed up and ready to go. I bought them off ebay and didnt really like the way they looked, so I took them off after a few months.

PM me if you are interested.

i bought the 5" extensions off ebay, they are pretty sturdy, it is basically just a piece of beefy stock with the bolt holes and extra bolts. they dont look the best hangin out front but they make the ride a bit more comfortable, im 6'4" and they are more comfortable than stock. looking into getting the chin fairing and think it will make it look better

I agree, they are very sturdy. I just couldnt get past the way they looked (not helping my case selling them, but its the truth). I even bought a lower cowl to try to help.

They are extremely comfortable too. If I wasnt so vain..... lol

I dont think I do. This is it without the cowl.

The cowl definately helped, but they overpowered it and you really couldnt see the cowl that well.

3 inches seems about max for extensions.  There's Legends in the Popular Mods post under Forward Controls.  Plus Youngja has Legends check his gallery, he might have posted the pics already (if not check back next week).

I bought the 5" extensions off ebay, and I love them.  They aren't the prettiest, but they are way more comfortable for a big 6'4" boy.

I don't think the horn was really helping the cause much either.  It's so funny you tall guys are trying to make the stock controls work by extending them with those scrap pieces while I've had to make several adjustments to finally get my forward controls not so forward so I can enjoy the looks without sacrificing comfort.  Just buy some nice Supreme Legends forward controls, they look incredible and will work great for you.  Plus Bill will give me a commision!  It's a win win win.  Wink

hmmmm lets see a 50 to 100 $$ part or $800... wow thats a pretty easy decision for now. Stick with the extensions. work fine and look ok for the $$.

    Just my $.02

Im running the 3 inch extensions right now - I going to make my own 5 inch versions shortly and test that.  Im 6'4 and looking for more comfort.  The 3 inch move made a big difference.  I might make a 4 and a 5 and see what I like best.  Once i have that dialed in I might spring for a higher dollar crome set.  The ebay ones seem to be holding up just fine.  They are what they are ... a cheap alternative.

I was using the 3" extensions for a while and they do their job well but I did not like the way they looked so I upgraded to the Supreme Legends and I think it was worth the xtra $$$ for more comfort and bling...

But like I said, the extensions do make the bike more comfortable for us tall riders and I would start there until you can justify the xtra $$$.

I* have the 3" off of ebay and really like them.  I would like the 5" but I think that I would have to move the coffin on the right side or my leg would hit it.  I am 6' and personally think that this is the best $50 mod out there.  Sturdy, looks okay I quess, way more comfy.

Forgiveness is between them and god....it's my job to arrange the meeting.
