    Was thinking TFI until...

I was just about ot order a TFI plug and play model until I saw the post on the PCIII USB 2007 version which is a plug and play install. The TFI is $25 cheaper.  The TFi  seems like it would be really easy to tune and adjust yourself which would be a plus for me as I know absolutely nothing about computers or downloading something. I do good to get on this site w/o screwing up. So, would you kind gents offer your advice? Is the PC a far superior product? I was just leaning to toward the TFi for the fact I know I can adjust it.

My bike has Big Shots and a BAK and I just want to get the bike to run smoother w/o all the surging and get the most power possible. Thanks

I dont know anything about the TFI. Most have the PCIII. The PCIII has adjustments also, dont know how the adjustments compare to the TFI. As far as downloading maps goes its pretty easy, even easier if you have a laptop. Plus so many people on this 4m have maps that they can send to you that would match up to your mods pretty well. Learn by doing. After you download one map its cake the next time. Good luck

The TFI is certainly easier to tune than a PCIII, in the same way, a Kazoo is easier to play than a Clarinet.

...let's put it this way: The TFI should be half the price and not just 25$... Party!!!

All I can tell you is after I installed the PCIII, I thought,"I should have done this a long time ago".
