    Yamaha or Baron's fender eliminator

Tonight I hit some bumps goin pretty fast and my OEM rear license plate holder chop job bit the dust.  Got sucked up under the fender by my tire.  So which fender eliminator is the best for an integrated taillight setup, Yamaha or Baron's?  I don't mind cutting, drilling, or grinding.  I just want the license angled up so it won't get munched by my tire again.  I found the Yamaha one for quite a cheaper so I'd be psyched if that one is better.  thanks.

The Yamaha IFEK fits perfectly with the stock taillight and all the factory hardware. Mine has served me well even with the 240 phat tire!

Thanks Alan.  By all the factory hardware, do you mean stock directionals?  I just have to cut off those tabs when using with an integrated taillight, right?

Many of us, myself included, just install the top half of the Yami kit and blow-off the license plate reflector and light because the tail light illuminates the plate.  This also moves the  plate to the very top right under the tail light.  The signal mounts are conveniently located on this part of the kit in case you use stand-alone signals.  They can be cut off but I used mine to mount two small white LED's on the sides that glow red when riding. Just because it looks cool.

No, i understood out of the gate that you were going to cut-off the turn signal tabs and go with an integrated taillight. There is OEM anti vibration hardware (rubber bushings and brass flange spacers) to mount the taillight and the black plastic surround as well as a couple of tinnerman clips and the fender mounting screws/nuts that will fit perfectly with the Yamaha IFEK.

There are other products on the market for the Warrior that will compromise the installation and some have even led to dimpled fenders on the side mounting bolts.

Cool.  I just picked up one on ebay.  I'll just dremel off those tabs.

Just a word of advice Surprise Keep in mind that the Yamaha IFEK is completely open and has no protection for the wires and connectors as does the OEM assembly. A half a$$ job here will only lead to future problems in a short period of time.
