    07 warrior luggage

hey guys, ok i did a search, and i see everyone recommends the EZ brackets, but i have the big roadhouse cannon exhaust. most of the other guys have different pipes, giving more clearance. i cant afford a new one right now, and i would like some way to attach bags or something for longer rides. can anyone offer some advice here? im not really sure how the backets work either, i see they replace he bolts with studs, but how does the bracket attach to the bag? ca i use any bag i like? or do they offer bags? im gonna order a rack as soon as i can, but i would like bags as well. thanks for theinfo guys.

If you stay with the stock exhaust you are very limited to what bags you can get. I am not sure how the brackets work, I don't have them. I use a tank bag for day trips. If I go for a weekend trip I put the sissy bar and t-bag on. On the Yamaha site they have, under accessories, a bag combo for the warrior.

I picked up a Kuryakyn GranTour Bag for my bike. Its comes with a mount plate that fits under between your pinion seat and fender. Look good too!

Probably one of your better choices since you still have the bazooka is to get the Yamaha Cruiselite Bags. I don't think they are that expensive and are made to work with the stock exhaust. Be sure to check the classifieds, I saw some advertised there recently.

the Cortech tri-bag setup is good for the warrior as well.  I've been using them since I bought the bike and have been very happy with them.

I have the Yamaha Cruiselite bags and the mini tank bag also from Yamaha. It still looks good even with an aftermarket exhaust, Samson Street Sweepers, etc. But you can't hold a lot of storage with them, it's very limited. There a snap to put on and take off, but like i said space is limited.

Ditch the Cannon and put Road Star Silverado hard bags on there. I carry all my tools for work and i can still put my lether jacket in one side and groceries in the other.  Vary convenient for Daley driver (and thay look good too)

i just got hit with some bills which put me in a financial grave, so its gonna take a few weeks now before i pull myself out. gives me more time to look over the options. the yammi bags last i remember where very expensive, ill look again though. bruce, i really like those bags, would you mind giving me the dimensions so i can look up pricing and options?

that gran tour bag is also sweet, seems very versatile. i wanna be able to go on trips with my girl, so saddlebags and something for a rack would be perfect i think. thanks for the info guys, i cant wait till i can start ordering crap for this bike.

I failed to mention that "I'm so tight that i squeak when i walk"  Got the Road Star mounts off ebay $75.00 total. and the bags one at a time for about

$350.00 total. Thay look like new. fab three brackets and your riding all practical like for $400.00 to $500.00. worth it for me sence i dont have to drive my

16-17mpg truck any more and i can travel with the bike as well.

I just got the easy brackets and some Jumbo slant Saddleman bags ( they look like Bruce59's), IMO they look pretty decent (for bags on a warrior, anyway) and the brackets make it so easy to take them on and off. BTW, they now put little twist latches on the bags so they don't just rely on the velcro to keep the lid closed anymore.

Last year when I was lacking cash and needed a bag for a trip I picked up one of these at the reccomendation of another member on this site:

    http://www.jafrum.com/Motorcycle-Luggage/Motorcycle-Sissy-Bar-Bags/SB1

and put it on my M/C enterprises sissy bar. Good quality for the price. Holds a lot of stuff. Expandable. Got some pretty nice chaps for the trip from them for dirt cheap too. With the bag and my new saddlebags I can haul a serious amount of crap now. Road trip!
